We had had problems with tree roots in the sewer about once every 2 years.Very unpleasant and about $400 each time.We decided to replace the whole sewerline while we were having a garden suite constructed, together with a new branch sewer and waterline to the new construction.The general contractors' proposals were not inspiring, involving deep trenching and disruption for possibly days.We have children in the house and wanted the job done in a day with minimum disruption.John Lavender's crew arrived about 8:30am and were finished by 4:00pm !His crew were polite, friendly and worked together in a manner that was a joy to behold.It was discovered that the old line ran under a concrete pad which meant the general contractors' trenching proposal was doomed.Sewer replacement is expensive any which way you do it.If you want it done almost miraculously fast call the gruff voiced John Lavender. His crew will work their magic.Exceeded my expectations by a long shot.

I would recommend this company to anyone that is in need of a sewer line replacement. Shawyn and his crew went above and beyond to make sure that we where happy. They where able to answer any questions and concerns we had. Tammy booked the date and time. She did the follow up on the inspections that needed to be done.

Located in Crestwood, we just had our sewer lines replaced by Lavenders contracting. The workers worked hard and the job was done in one long day. My landscaping was treated carefully and the driveway cement pad was cut out evenly. I rated the service overall as average as I believe that with the proper management/ownership the company has a chance to outshine its competition. In retrospect, we should have gone with the company that would be able to start working ASAP considering urgency of the matter. We had several quotes done and they were all the same. The reason we went with Lavenders was the fact that the estimator assured us on Monday that the brand new permanent decking would be preserved and the job could be done next day, plus the website said their service was offered 24/7. I was also hoping that due to not having sewer lines insured and my husband being on disability (plus me just coming off three months on CERB, just having to change hot water tank three weeks ago, failed plumber attempt to solve the issue, failed EPCOR attempt to camera and solve the issue were all pricy), we would be considered for seniors discount. On Tuesday we had a rude awakening: the crew came by and turned away....the deck was on their way, they couldn’t work when it was rainy, the plants and the shrub were on the way as well and no discount on disability.... I have not been able to use a shower for weeks by then...the bucket was used as a toilet for way too long...dishes and laundry were piling up....my poor husband spent entire Wednesday laying on the deck in the rain unscrewing the permanent deck as fast as he could. When he called the owner that the access was clear, they couldn’t come out Thursday because it was raining and they had another job to do, Friday to Sunday was a long weekend (just as the website says they are available 24/7, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, when you need us). Well, I hope no one has to suffer yet another week in addition to weeks of issues, but now having a total sewer collapse and the water backing up from the ground into our basement... FOR A FULL WEEK EXTRA...and still being in fear that when the crew finally arrives they would find some other reasons not to proceed or problems along the way that would increase the overall cost (there is a clause in the contract that allows for that). The day of the sewer line repair my husband and I tried to give the workers their space and not ask any questions, but some reassurance that everything was going well would’ve been appreciated. When they restarted the water access when the job was done, we noticed there was a new problem with a kitchen faucet. The workers said they would make sure a plumber is being called. Next day no one phoned us, we left a message at the end of the day as the water pressure must’ve reestablished itself and the plumber was no longer needed. I guess if the website didn’t look so personable and the testimonials on it were not so beautifully handcrafted, I would’ve not had high expectations from customer service perspective. Reviews on here also made me wonder if we just “picked” a busy time of the year to have an emergency, or service just went downhill. Hopefully this review will be taken as an opportunity for growth and I hope the quality of work withstands the test of time.

Lavenders came in and dug up my old pipe and replaced it with new PVC. Guys worked efficiently and we're very cool. From the quote to the final dump truck of black dirt I was pretty darn satisfied.

I experienced a partial failure of a sanitary sewer requiring replacement of the residential service.. Due to a large fixed deck up against the house, trenchless repair was the appropriate solution as that did not require a full yard excavation.I contacted this company as a specialist in trenchless sewer replacement, and received an immediate response. The office staff contact was exceptional, with business knowledge and customer service oriented. The owner of came out almost immediately to assess the work required and provide a ball park estimate.His manner was professional and very direct about what to expect during a repair, including impact to the yard, the basement and fencing and what the home owner would need to do. Additional information on backflow valve installation (a city subsidy was available) and other potential costs were discussed. A detailed formal estimate including scope arrived shortly afterwards.The cost estimate was within what others contacted to provide estimates for this work, and the no surprise final bill was very close to the estimate.The work was scheduled within two weeks, with an additional commitment made that should we experience a complete failure of the sewer line, they would immediately address it by redirecting a crew.The crew arrived on the day promised, at 8:00 AM and commenced work immediately. They kept me up to date on their progress and answered any questions with clarity and patience. The work was completed by 3:00 PM, including basement floor concrete repair of the access hole, the fence was reinstalled and landscaping material filled in. The line was scoped as a final confirmation of the work done and the basement area cleared up. The alley excavation was packed, and cleaned up so well, it was hard to know they were even there.This company and their employees significantly exceeded my expectations for this work, and highly recommend this company who needs work of a similar nature.

I have been trying to get my sewer drain line replaced (my house was built long time ago and needs new pipe installed) with another contractor and they couldn't provide a good enough quote for them and it took about a few weeks (although i wasn't in a hurry) so i called another place and they referred me to Lavenders and i called them this morning and they said that they would be out at 2:30 and they were and they had a quote in a half hour and i looked at it and it was very detailed and he was right to the point of what he was going to do and what we have to do. I sent the quote to the insurance company and see if they will approve it. I am sure they will. But thanks to Lavenders for the professionalism and quickness. If approved with insurance i will post another report of how they did. I am very pleased with what i have experienced so far and i am sure you will too.Update May 2018. They did come in about a week later and it only took about 8 hrs to do and they told me everything i needed to do in fixing the two holes they had to make to repair the line. Everything is still fine since then and no more backups and no more plumbers to call to come and fix it.

I'm very happy with the service I received from Lavenders. I called for a quote and John came the same day. He wrote up the quote for me while he was still at my place. He was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I had 5 companies come and quote and they were all very close in price.Lavenders was able to book me in quickly and Morgan and his crew came and replaced the no-corrode line within couple days. I was impressed with how quickly they completed the job. Morgan took care to keep the mess in my house to a minimum and was very pleasant. Thanks to John, Morgan and his crew!

Very rude, Shawn argued with me about where I wanted to put the backflow valve. Then got mad that I said his quote was way too high. Not very professional at all. Never did send me the quote.

We had Lavenders come and replace our sewer line using pipe burst as we were getting tree roots and sewer back up issues. Our clay pipes had been infiltrated heavily with roots both city and our side. We got three quotes. Lavenders was the best by far the best price, but also provided with a great warranty that gave peace of mind.The work took a full day, but they did so professionally, and answered any and all questions i had, and educated me on the process. They also were able to do it with minimal disruption to my property.There customer service from start to finish and even follow-up after everything was completed (i'm talking 6 months after when we thought we had concerns) was professional and outstanding. They really ensure the customers are treated right, ensure everything is top quality, and that they have your back.Would recommend them every time.
