Revelstoke Vacation Rentals

I've rented with RPS for two years now in two separate locations and can highly recommend them. The whole process was very professional and friendly. If you want a clean home and a reliable landlord give them a call.

Planned a ski trip as a bachelor trip to at stay one of the properties. Covid19 hit and some of us couldn't and of course didn't even want to get into the country. Cancelled and denied refund. Just disappointing...

Like most of the other reviews I had a similar experience. We booked a 260$ a night accommodation because we really wanted a nice place to have a good sleep and spend the night. We did not receive our check-in info (Code). We called and left a message. No Response. Called the emergency number, no response. Texted the emergency number, and finally got the check in information.Once we got in everything seemed fine. We turned on the stand alone AC unit and left for dinner. When we got back it was still 24.5C in the unit. We called, texted, emailed. No response. On their website it even says that they have 24/7 customer service.We couldn't get to sleep and it was a horrible night. Emailed them to ask for a refund and they offered us 50$ and told us to open a window....worst customer service we have ever received for a 260$ place. Will definitely not be using them again and I suggest the rest of the customers book a hotel where you can get a different room, for less.

We attempted to cancel ONE MONTH before arriving after learning that we need to file a 10-day quarantine plan in order to enter the country. We're vaccinated, but don't want to take the risk of being stuck there, particularly with Omicron increasing rapidly. We asked if we can postpone until next year, but their policy is TOTAL INFLEXIBILITY regarding refund or credit. Best to look elsewhere for accommodations.

A group of friends and I rented a house through RVR for a ski trip. As our dates approached, Revelstoke had a whopping 19 cm of snowfall in the month of February. Our group decided to make other accommodations. I tried to contact RVR over the weekend, to discuss our cancellation, and received no response. I then sent RVR an email, expressing our decision to cancel our reservation. I acknowledge that we understood they might lose out on rental over the weekend, but asked if they might consider refunding or giving us a credit for a future stay on the nights most rentals go dormant during the week. We had an 8 day rental, Tuesday to Tuesday, anything would have been good business practice. Our contact did offer to try and rent the place, and agreed to credit us if our unit was rented. I checked VRBO several time after our conversation, and only found our unit on VRBO 1 of the 3 days I looked for it. After sending our contact several emails requesting an update, this is the response I received. Sorry

They were understanding, considerate and professional in their management of my husband and I as new tenants, as well as being new to the community of Revelstoke. Our property managers Scott and Eve were both very knowledgeable of the town, and were able to provide us with a lot of information that helped us get settled in our new home and mountain town. We got to know Scott and Eve very well in our dealings with them as our landlords for over a year, and we found them to be very driven, motivated and hard working people who have built Revelstoke Property Services to the successful business it is today. Preface: I would rent via Revelstoke vacations again as they did take ownership of the mistake and they did their best to solve an issue caused by a reservation agent no longer with the company.Review:We experienced an issue with our booking, someone on the reservations team had cancelled my booking without notice. As the date approached I had a confirmation and no check in information. Once it was discovered the mistake and that we had no place to stay, the reservation team was dismissive and almost rude.Overall, the mistake and issue was resolved thanks to the kind and understanding Operations Manager, Jolene. She was responsive and offered solutions to the problem where the reservations team had none. Mistakes happen and we made the best of it.
