We did our basement and Rental property renovation with him and Niko has been very accommodating. They work very fast but efficiently without missing any steps in the constructions. We hired YiXin to renovate our bathroom a couple of years ago. The owner, Niko, was very helpful and friendly. Most importantly, his team did a fantastic job. I was pleasantly surprised when Lin from YiXin proactively reached out to us recently to see how things were. He then came by on a Saturday to fix minor things. We are very impressed with the service and will definitely recommend YiXin to our friends and family.

I doubt we are the only customers have problems with this construction company. I share mine here as I felt bad to have anyone else suffer the same as we do. We did whole main and second floor renovation last year., and it is written in the contract any problems due to quality reason or by accident, there’s 3-year warranty.I believe the company owner is a nice person, and try to deliver good renovation project, but his workers are not qualified for good job. During the renovation, the city inspectors had to come several times as the plumbing and structural work did not comply with Ontario building code, as the workers are unfamiliar with local codes.Till now, it is only about 10 months: first a few months we had lots of tiles loosened, and some tile cracked. The workers came said don’t know how to fix the cracked tile, the loosen tile they just put some glue in the gap, and left with big mess, my husband and I ended up fixing the loosen tile by ourselves. Then the railing was loosened, had to keep calling and waiting for over month to have someone some and fix it… Several doors were not aligned well…The fire alarm they put right in the front of wall oven, one time it went off, my husband covered the fire alarm with a plastic bag, Recently, I told the contractor, whenever I use the oven, it triggers the fire alarm as it is right above the oven, which professional contractor does that?!... Regardless, I messaged and called the construction owner again and again, no reply… Hope he will rely back and fix the problems as promised… Attached some photos of our houseI would give 2-star for their skill set, 3-star for their overall work (design, material, basic work, etc.), 3-star for their service.

Really appreciated their good service and professional team that met all my requirements. People who are working on weekdays can make appointments on weekend. They are always willing to help! Will recommend friends if they have needs in RENO.

The most important thing to know as homeowners is that the owner of Yixin, Niko, is a very trustworthy good person, no bs, honest, manages his team well, and takes responsibility. We did a full bathroom reno including full demolition, door location moved to better spot, electrical moved, dual vanity (upgrade from a single vanity), tiles, shower, pot lights, mirrors etc. We also did a front door foyer pole and platform removal, light installation, and re-tiling. We were happy with the quality for the price. No reno is perfect throughout the whole process, especially when full demolition is involved so things did come up but the key is Niko solved it all for us smoothly and made us feel very safe and taken care of in the end. Now we look at the foyer and bathroom and feel like we made the right choice going with Yixin.

One of the staff members was hostile and assaulted me for staying at the front while it was raining hard and I was waiting for an Uber, I complied and left and he still harassed me so I recorded him for my safety, don’t go here if you want someone unprofessional, he was big built, East Asian, sloppy hair, and is approximately 5’9 in height.He also threatened to fight me as I have it all recorded on my phone. The company has now threatened to call the cops on their own accord of hostility knowing what the staff member had done was illegal, so that’s okay.They also imply that I didn’t tell the staff member the reason for my stay, which mind you I was at the front when his desk is located inside the office, which was quite a distance and I was only near the door, in a suit coming from work. There was no way I was there for theft since I work as a sales agent. I was waiting in the rain for my Uber, and he barely spoke English enough to understand me so he kicked me out, and I complied civilly.If anyone would like evidence feel free to message me
