Great restaurant in the old port. The menu offers a good variety of choices: burger/pasta/vegetarian/fish. The food tasted great and were good portions although it was a little pricey. The atmosphere is great and intimate. Highly recommend. Excellent service.

So nice to serve with a bottle of water on the table.Good service from waiters and waitresses.They are willing to speak in English, very friendly to tourists.(This place is crowded during lunch time from local business peoples)Food is delicious.

Really enjoyed our lunch at Vallier. The calamari was excellent, and their house salad was very tasty and well dressed. The highlight of the meal was by far the dessert - it was absolutely delicious! My fiance was not planning on having any so I ordered it for myself, but upon having one bite he ended up eating most of it ha. We were the very first customers there right when they opened, but the place quickly filled up shortly after which was impressive for a Wednesday.

I specially enjoyed Vaillier. We had steamed clams. Delicious and relaxed. Well trained and friendly staff. Parking can be challenging. Reservations recommended. I will be back.

Vallier Bistro
I asked the bartender Steve to bring his favorites and he delivered: Salmon Tartar, Mushroom Toast and Haloumi. Plus a delicious dessert I believe was the Pudding Chomeur. Atmosphere is elegant and location is close to the Port. Excellent.

What a great dining experience we had at this restaurant! The calamari was excellent. The onion soup was delicious, and my husband raved about the steak tartare! The service was impeccable!

Had the good fortune to stumble upon this gem down the street from our hotel the last night of our visit. Great experience, even with our two boys (9 &12) in tow. Service was fantastic, food was wonderful & really well executed, & we were especially pleased with the cocktail /wine menu & suggestions. Thank you so much - we’ll be back next time in Montreal!

Had a decent time here, came for lunch. The poutine is overhyped and was a disappointment. It was sufficiently cheesy but the duck was dry! I did enjoy the salmon tartare though.

The decor in the restaurant is nice and it creates a cozy environment. The food was good, the Mac n' Cheese is a fairly decent size, and it's very creamy/cheesy.--I enjoyed my meal much better on my second visit to this restaurant. I got the black garlic pasta, and it was actually very nice. It's was much better than the Mac n' Cheese. The noodles were perfectly cooked & the sauce complimented it nicely.
