Bombay Brow Bar - Kitsilano

I’ve been going to Bombay since they first opened one of their first locations in Coal Harbor by the Shangi-la. The service back then was superb however the experience has changed substantially.I now go to the kitsilano location regularly (I’ve also been to the Yaletown one) and as long as you find someone that does your brows the way you like it you should be good. If you don’t go to the same person the service is inconsistent. For example my mothers eyelids were cut with the thread by someone that did not seemed to know what they were doing once.The salon feels like it needs a little maintenance and it’s definitely not as luxurious as it felt when they first started. The kits location uses a plug in air freshener that smells awfully strong and resembles a public bathroom freshener. It “cheapens” the whole experience.For the price there are other salons that will provide an overall better experience for less.For now it’s ok, needless to say I am on the hunt for something better.

Went in for some facial threading. The girl who did my service was quick and thorough, and did a fantastic job. I used to come here with my mom to get our eyebrows done, and always had great service then, too. (I do my own now, otherwise I would continue to get my brows done here!)great price, and the products they use smell very nice.

This is the second time I go to Bombay Brow Bar in Kitsilano for my eye brows and each time was a very lovely experience. The technician is very knowledgeable and helps me make the right decision about my brows. The consultation includes the choice of depilation technique as well as the design that I desire. I couldn't be happier. It is pricier than other depilation services, but worth every penny!

I have been going to Bombay Brow bar exclusively 1-2 times per month for the past 10 years. All their locations are consistent in service and professional.Rajini in Yaletown is so great, and Pooja in Kitsilano is phenomenal. I always feel great after my visits.

I've been going to different locations of Bombay Brow Bar since I was in high school. I gotta say, it doesn't matter which place you go to, all of them are amazing. The people that do your eyebrows are so accommodating and precise. You seriously can't go wrong here. Its professional, clean, and not a horrible price. I would definitely recommend.

My brows are sparse already, and she made them even thinner. I will definitely wait until the lady I usually see at Bombay Brow Bar is available.

Ladies at the kits location are spectacular. I've never had a bad experience and been going for years. Doesn't matter who you get, they are all good. They ask you if you have preferences/make sure you're happy. They massage and use creams (I have sensitive skin and the aloe has never caused any irritation). 5 stars.

I made an appointment for shaping and tinting online, and it was quick and easy. I was long overdue ( pre pandemic). So I was nervous about the pain, as I remembered it being kinda awful and that I would lose too much hair or just look too different. HOWEVER, I am impressed with the experienced staff, the techniques they use, and the care they take, and it was less painful than I remembered. My brows are impressive, and it feels like a mini eye lift! Now the prices have gone up, the service and results ARE worth the price, I just had a different number in my head from pre pandemic. I will definitely be back!

This was the first time that I’ve had my brows tinted and it’s something that I definitely will be keeping up! I’ve been a long time customer for the brow shaping but with one thing or another I’d not been able to follow up for a few years. I’d forgotten what a difference it made having my brows professionally groomed! With the tint and excellent shaping my morning makeup routine is quicker and easier.
