First time staying here for a course and heard so many good things before coming here. Tribute tower is like a hotel but because it looks like one doesn’t mean it’s ran like one (housekeeping, free mini toiletries, coffee machine, etc. I say this as I was part of the hospitality industry) so always ensure you pack what you need for the short and long term stays, especially after reading the comments. Not sure if they have their own website but maybe they should also include what’s included in the rooms. They do have a mini fridge, microwave, cable, private shower, lots of closet space and wifi. The rooms clean for the most part, has a booklet for all the info you need for emergency drills, who to call on base, etc. cleaning products are provided by the front desk and toilet paper which is great. You can buy your own if you’re staying here more than a few weeks. The galley is making awesome food! Kudos to them! Staff so far are nice as well. They do have a small gym with basic equipment, elevators are available so you’re not lugging your luggage like in Borden or nelles block. They have a garbage room on the main floor as well for days you maintain your room.Only nuisance in my room is the finicky thermostat. It’s always cold in my room…I’m literally layered up and trying to keep warm.

I Stayed here for two nights in between postings. I was lucky to get a room to myself. It was very clean and affordable. Sure, you have to deal with the military environment and I wouldn't recommend this place if you're trying to get away from that but if you think it's worth it to save on a hotel then go for it. I was perfectly satisfied. Some of the younger members of course can be a little rowdy on the weekend.

I mean it's a lot better then a hooch. That said it has all the amenities of a mid-range hotel and is a HUGE improvement over the older A-block accommodations. The mess is much smaller then the old fleet club, but is a clean modern space for a few drinks after course.

If you can get someone from tinder to invite you into a room, the showers are nice, rooms have fridges and microwaves, Windows have cranks so you can open them to smoke. Any government issued ID will get you though the front gates.

Rooms aren't bad (showers, TV with some channels, mini-fridge, microwave) My issue was with the mess. Hair in soup, no seconds because of COVID, and food portions that won't fill my 7 year old. I feel for the guys and gals paying R&Q. Gym is tiny. There is only one other gym on base in another building that closes at 1500 and is available Monday to Friday only. Internet is very restricted. Good luck trying to stream anything, and be prepared to turn off the WiFi to use certain apps or sites. Depending on what floor you are, the view is nice. Downtown and grocery store is a few minutes walk. A few takeout/delivery places around. Only one elevator works, and sometimes if it's overloaded, even that doesn't work. So be prepared to take the stairs.

I host karaoke at the Atlantic Fleet Club, on the ground floor. This is the Fleet Master Sailor & Below lounge and night club. The staff are amazing!!

Front desk staff (commissionaires & enlisted folks) are great and super helpful, but the keycard system for entry into rooms is lacking. I personally witnessed multiple issues (card or lock failures). If the lock fails then no one can get into the room without having to go through a process involving several tumbler keys to actually unlock the doors, and then its a matter of WHEN the issue can be corrected, in the meantime leaving your door propped open if you have to go out, which is a bit of a security concern. Overall, great location and amenities, but be aware that just like any other type of accommodation, there are some issues.

Rooms are good. Having the Fleet Club on the main floor was very convenient. No access to wifi unless you have a DWAN account (I'm a veteran so no wifi). I was surprised they don't supply towels and hand soap in the bathroom. Have to clean the room and empty the garbage can prior to departure. I'm wondering what the cleaners do there.Next time I'm taking a real hotel.
