It was a great autumn experience, but the museum part was closed to visitors, and at least one of the smaller trails was closed off due to staging birds". I also didn't like the high traffic of bikes down the trails with my three year old walking beside us. I would have liked to have let him explore a little more

I absolutely love the renovations in the interpretative center. The animal learning displays are very interesting. The large garter snake was very active when we visited. The fish setup is magical - like you are underwater with them. My daughter loved the search. Well done, fortwhyte.

This place is currently engaged in overt racism through their admission fees. They offer free admission to some people and charge others based solely on their race and ethnicity. This is ILLEGAL under Canadian law.I will not be supporting any business or center engaged in this racist and illegal practice. They're going to get sued for discrimination doing this. You cannot charge families different prices or offer it free to some but not all over the colour of their skin or their ethnicity... Those are protected categories encoded into all levels of government law. It's one of the bedrocks of our Canadian nation. You cannot treat people differently based on this.I thought we were all past this kind of segregation and racial discrimination. We were excited to come out this weekend as a family. We decided not to go when we saw that we would have to pay a different price because we were the wrong ethnicity. That's not reconciliation" ... that's discrimination and division... and illegalDisappointing. Very disappointing."

A nice place to enjoy nature, stroll on the many easy trails and have lunch by the lake.

One of hidden jems in Winnipeg. Even keep improving the facility to enjoy the nature in the city. You can even do fishing here!

Volunteered at an event here. Have always loved coming to this place for a quiet walk and reflection. There is lots to do but I haven’t tried too much. Friendly staff!
