Murphy's Laundromat

This place is amazing. The woman who handles the drop off laundry is a living god of folding. I’m talking magic. Some uncanny mix of natural talent, years of mastery, and a touch of loving craftsmanship allows her to press every last molecule of air out of clothes while keeping them wrinkle free and all articles perfectly aligned to the exact same size. We dropped off our laundry here while on vacation on a long camping trip. We had several loads and some smelly towels and swimsuits from ocean swimming. In return, we got fresh, tiny, perfectly stacked cubes of color that left our bags wondering where all our clothes had gone. The owners were super friendly. And they did all the loads in a couple hours while we explored the citadel. Highly recommend. And worth it to wash already clean clothes, just to witness this ultimate display of finesse and prowess.

Staying downtown Halifax from Ottawa for an extended period and needed to do laundry. Opted to try the drop off laundry service here. Super impressed with the very reasonably priced service and the awesome folding. Well worth it and would go there again.

This is the best laundromat in town. It is centtsle clean walkable to most everything. The ownersare incredibly hard working and and prices are great.

Well worth the trip. Lady owner is very helpful, read the fabric care labels to make sure nothing ruined, neatly folded such that shirts didn't need ironing, great alteration job on shortening jeans, gave me change to do a small run and rang for a taxi to get back to base. A living treasure! You won't be disappointed.

I have to fly out of town very early tomorrow morning and decided to Google and find a laundromat that could wash and fold my laundry for me after I dropped it off. After reading the reviews from Murphys Laundromat and calling and speaking to Young-Hee on the phone, I decided to try out their services.Young-Hee was very wonderful to talk to on the phone and even nicer in person. She listened patiently as I explained in detail the way I like my laundry to be processed.I could not have been happier about the results. All of my laundry was meticulously folded and even my laundry bag had been cleaned. Now instead of rushing to get all of this done before the end of the day I can relax and enjoy my evening with my family before going out of town.I will definitely use their services once I’m back.

Needed laundry done while traveling and was lucky to find Murphy’s. At drop off was asked lots of specific questions regarding stains, items that required special care and whether I wanted scent-free detergent and Bounce. Very impressed with how carefully each item was treated. And was shocked by how inexpensive the service was. Thanks for making our experience painless!

Great place for laundry service. They do a perfect job every time and fold your clothing and things so nicely you dont even want to put them away!

This is a great place to get your laundry done. Whether you use their drop off service or do it yourself.The price is excellent and so is the service. I am down from Montreal without access to a washer and dryer and after reading the reviews I had to try them.I was not disappointed! I will be back. I highly recommend them. The owners are excellent. So friendly.

I was visiting the beautiful city of Halifax from Ottawa and needed a good wash and fold service. This laundry is the best, they are very helpful and friendly. Really great experience, would recommend to everyone.
