Poor service to say the least. Had to wait a long while to see no one in the store. We had to leave when we understood that there wasn't anything coming our way any time soon. We had to have our lunch from somewhere!

Overpriced for the quantity that they are serving. I was left hungry afterwards. Rude on the phone and in-person customer service was horrible. No greetings, no smiles, no thank you, not a single word said to me when I was there to pick up the food and pay for it. May as well just shut down the business with such a customer service. Regret giving this place a try.

Worst lunch I ever hadAfter an exhausted month, we thought of visiting an Asian restaurant in downtown (We do not frequently dine at restaurants). And we found this restaurant in Google and plan to walk to it and then to hang around. Space was limited to couple of tables and one was occupied by a group of boys. It appeared like a part of a normal house, and nothing was special. No welcome!We chose our meals and a lady came to take the order (no smile!), and half of the plates that we asked was told that “It takes long time”. Then, she anxiously suggested an ‘all-in-one plate’ and along with we ordered a vegetable mix curry and plain rice.In 10 min, we were served. That ‘all-in-one’ plate was terrible and we found even a hair in the vegetable curry (which seemed to be ‘freshly’ prepared; all of the others were “heat and served”). It was a terrible experience to finish up our meal and I really suspect on the degree of hygiene. It is nothing to the money you pay, which is still acceptable and what really missing in the restaurant (I am sorry!) is there is no ‘hospitality-sense’ to treat the customers!!!

One thing you need to keep in mind that they are not well known for their interior or anything. It's a very simple place; the interior is not impressive at all. But if we are talking about their food? That's first class. Starting from the appetizers to deserts, almost everything will satisfy your craving for deshi food.

Excellent Indian food. The restaurant is nothing fancy but that doesn’t matter when you’re getting high end authentic Indian food like this. Their prices are half that of India Gate and coming from someone who has eaten Indian food in dozens of different countries, this is as good as it gets in St Johns!

Very disappointing meals tonight. After repeating my order twice on the phone for five entrees was missing one of the meals when we got homeCan’t ever remember receiving Chicken Biryini made with chicken legs ???? And both chicken legs were undercooked , red on the bone , with risk of food poisoning …….. suggest you order elsewhere.Oh they don’t take credit card either , so be sure you have cash or money in your account for Interac.

I give the food a (4 stars) for flavour; however, for the price, I give it a (1 star)! We were two people ordering Vegetarian Dishes; we asked specifically to be served half-portions, so we could share several dishes. When the bill came, we were surprised to see that we were charged full price for every dish. The bill came to $85 for a vegetarian meal (with no alcohol). The owner pretended she didn't hear us asking for half-portions. If the portions we got were normal size; then do not come if you are hungry! I really feel the owner swindled us for our money. I will never go back nor recommend this place.

Simple, tasty, and definitely aromatic.The atmosphere is filled with peace and serenity. Something that many restaurants lack by poisoning their places with loud music that has zero resonance with the body's need for piece during a meal. Homestyle east indian cooking, and the lady running the place gives you the impression of enjoy your meal
