Support local business the owner is a gentleman and will to help you get what you're after. I just ordered some Edward brand Photo Etch and waiting on some other supplies which i could easy order online myself. For me i prefer face to face transactions.

This is one of the best hobby shops I have been to. There's a lot of stocks in store from accessories, paint and RC parts to choose from. The owner is so knowledgeable and helpful. It is good to take note, his store no longer accepts credit cards due to the ridiculous charges he gets to pay the banks. I was told he might be closing the store in the next year unfortunately so if you are a fan of toys for the big boys, I highghy recommend this shop.

I’ve gone to Burnaby Hobbies since 1981, when Dave and his father were running it together. Great place, Dave carries on the family tradition with great knowledge, good deals, and friendly service. If I hadn’t moved to Ontario in 2018 I’d still be going there!

One of the only rare real hobby shops in the greater Vancouver area. If you are looking for hobby supplies this place has it all. Plastic and wood models of all kinds, rockets, Airplanes, RC vehicules, and remotes, moters, books and toys. They also carry an impressive selection of tools from aibrushes to precision pliers and everything in between. For the scratch modelers, all you need is here, balsa wood of every shape, styrene, metal tubing and more. I have never seen such a huge selection of glues. The paint selection is also excellent. It's the kind of store where you have to take your time to look around because there are little treasures everywhere, either in a corner on the floor, sitting on the counter or hanging from the ceiling. They don't specialize in model trains but have a few items to get you out of a bind. The shop is operated by the owner and he is very knowledgeable. He knows all the kits going back many years and is an invaluable resource if you are into model making. They can also do special orders. This hobby shop is one of only two stores in Canada listed on the Zoukei-Mura/SWS website. Bring your kid if you want to get them away from their tablets and into the real world of hobbies.

My first visit showed that this is a serious model and hobby store with friendly, knowledgeable staff.

One of the best old school hobby shops in the Lower mainland! Tons of kits, paints, cements, tools etc and Dave the store owner is very nice! Take a look if ur ever around!!

What a great store. The owner Dave helped me with everything I needed. Good prices on Tamiya rattle can paint! Lots of model car selection. Saw lots of trucks too. I love the old school feel to the store. Reminds me of when I was a kid and these places were everywhere. I'm so glad a place like this still exists!!

Burnaby Hobbies has always been a vital resource.Now even moreso with the last model railway store in Vancouver closed and moving to Langley.Great selection and service.

Great shop. Owner very knowledgeable. Able to source any and all traxxas parts. Prices reasonable. Service is pretty slow, seems like every time i come in there are people chatting up the owner and then the phone rings constantly.

The best! Been coming here for 35+ years and the owner is a very nice guy who is super helpful and knowledgeable about RC and all kinds of model cars, planes, boat etc! Thank you again!
