Super friendly and helpful staff. Went in for a Hurtta Slush Combat Suit and they helped me put it on my dog in the store and made sure it was the right fit for him. Would definitely come back!

I was looking for a leather leash/collar for my dog and I found it at Dog Father. They have a very large selection of merchandise and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommended.

I took my beloved schnauzer to Dog Father for years. She was a very senior girl and required a quick process… and a slow groom (I know, I know). Mel is the best and accommodated my beloved girl. I always knew she was in good hands. After her passing, a year later, we have a spunky hot mess mixed breed express who requires a quick groom in all ways! Again, Mel is the only one we trust and adore. Book early, keep your consistent spot, be prompt, and pick up your dog when they are done (why do people want to leave their dogs in a crate… pick them up… so odd)! Best groomer and I am forever thankful. Finally, I was reading some petty reviews about the size of the shop. It’s Yonge street… at Rosedale station…. in Toronto. Make your complaint make sense!

We came in to try out a snowsuit for a dog. The staff were really attentive and helped out the snowsuit on my dog and made sure it was a good fit. They took the time to show us the features of the outfit and showed us how to take the suit on and off as it’s a bit tricky. Highly recommended!

The staff were amazing with my dog that allowed him to try on outfits. Taking care of customer needs. Thank you for your service

I highly recommend Dogfather & Co for dog grooming. Walking in, you can tell how much the people who work there love the dogs who come in, and they always great my dog by name. Her groomer, Mel, is awesome! My dog never fears going into the store and starts licking Mel as soon as I hand her over. My dog always looks great when the grooming is done!

I have my three dogs groomed at the Dog Father. Bearded Collies a Tiebetan Terrier. The groomers and staff are fabulous. They also make great suggestions for me In between grooms.Brushes to use, shampoo, etc.Honestly I would not go anywhere else!!

Edit : the comment that the owner wrote in response to my first comment below , is absolutely false. All in all the cost of this grooming came close to $300. Essentially , they make up when they will charge you extra and when they will not. The first time we went here, our dogs hair was much longer and there was no additional “matting” charge. They decided to charge for that this time, which is something they should let you know of beforehand, especially when already paying so much for a grooming.As well , our dog wasn’t left for 6 hours. She was left for the “hours” it took to groom her, and once I was told she would be done, I came to pick her up approximately 1.5 hours later, in which I was then called about a boarding fee I would be charged if I did not pick her up in the next hour ( a fee I never knew about previously). This was in addition to already paying an absurd amount for grooming and extra charges for “matting”. All in all , a terrible experience. There was also no mention of an apology for getting our dogs gender wrong, after claiming to know her so well in the comment below. Very unprofessional and staff are extremely rude. Very unwelcoming and not a place I would ever return to.My original post : Absolutely terrible service. Charge hundreds of dollars for essentially a trim, no customer service and make up policies on the spot ( was called an hour before I had to pick up my dog after a grooming letting me know that I would be charged a boarding fee to the already absurd amount of money the grooming costs , if she stayed for any more time). This was never a policy I was told about previously. They charge an arm and leg if you cancel , without letting you know this policy prior AND they didn’t even get my dogs gender right when she had been there twice before. The staff at the front desk are awful and do not care about their customers at all. Never again.

DogFather&Co is my favourite pet groomer. Their store is very colourful and homey containing high quality products. Walking down Rosedale I usually encounter happy dogs wearing the clothing items from their store. The groomers take excellent care of the dogs making grooming a positive spa experience.

I have recommended Dog Father grooming to friends and family. They are a caring team and have two awesome locations in Toronto filled with goodies. I've been taking our poodles to Stephanie for years and my one dog in particular who is quite a handful does extremely well with her. I love that their staff always tries to accommodate with scheduling and is very patient and kind overall!
