Martin is professional, easy to work with and very organized. I learned a lot from Martin as he is thorough, patient, and easy to work with. He gets 2 stars because of the outrageous pricing. He is a great accountant in that he will account for every second spent on your file and make sure you pay for it (was charged over $600 for emails alone). I have no doubt he did my return perfectly but I was able to save a ton by going through J&D Tax Services even the base price of J&D is less than a third of what Martin charges. I wrote this review so others can be informed before walking into this.Edited: After being contacted by Martin, I wanted it to be clear that he does a great job and also removed some details about total charges. I also want to state I never brought up the charges with him or complained.

I went to Martin hoping to file my 2017 taxes and get some advice on how to optimally structure my consulting business for tax purposes moving forward. I found Martin to be extremely knowledgeable, and also able to clearly articulate the complexities I would run into, in terms I could understand. Not only did he file my 2017, but also found all sorts of issues and omissions for years prior, corrected and filed those as well.Martin's got an organized method to what he does, and it took me a while to appreciate it. But coming out of it, I can say that not only was he able to resolve a series of complex outstanding issues on my personal taxes, but he was also able to set me up with a framework that would make tax filings substantially easier in the future. I'll certainly be using his services again.
