From the moment that we first met Phil, we knew that Philco was the perfect fit for us. The entire team is extremely knowledgeable, transparent and highly skilled, but they also have the most important thing: a true passion for what they do. Building a house is a huge undertaking, and they walked us through the whole process with ease. Even when tough decisions arose, we had total confidence that the advice they offered us was the same they would have offered their families. And that is something we will forever be grateful for! Our family home was built on time (amazing!) and with a lot of heart, and we can’t stop telling anyone that asks about what a positive experienced it was. It has now been just over 2 years since we moved into our home, and we are even more in love with it than we were then, if that’s even possible.

We have had the pleasure of living in a Philco Construction built home for over three years now and the quality still exceeds our expectations.The entire crew was very professional and we can't say enough positive things about the experience from start to finish. THANKS PHILCO!!!

Literally the worst framing I have ever seen.

I've been working with the team at Philco for years, and they never fail to provide a quality product for their clients. They build beautiful homes, treat their clients well, and work hard to keep things on budget. Their communication with, and treatment of their trades is excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Philco for anyone that's looking to have a quality build done.

This was our third new-build home and I am very pleased with Philco. On time, on budget and all the crews and staff were professional. Would highly recommend.

Top quality work. Second to none.

My husband and I vacationed in North Saanich in January of 2021 and as we drove to our rental property, we noticed an impressive home being built en-route. It had a Philco sign out front so curiosity got the better of us and we phoned to inquire. The home turned out to be Phil's; he invited us for a tour, we fell in love with it and pressured him to sell. He was tempted but with a young family, he declined and offered to build us our own and that's what we did! In under a month on the island, we bought a waterfront lot under his guidance, enlisted his recommended designer Ryan Hoyt, sold our property in Pemberton, BC and commenced construction that spring. Over phone conversations, emails and the occasional visit, we finished the home in March of 2022 and moved in never looking back. Phil is a visionary; conceptually intuitive, creative, organized, detailed to a fault and a true problem solver. Honest, budget conscience, amicable and entertaining, we had so much fun we would do it again but for now our home is lovely and fits us well. Of course, it wasn't just Phil who made it smooth sailing. Lovely Eric was always there to run the numbers and give me great finishing ideas, Hazel to help with the landscaping and Corrine to oversee the accounting, all customer service driven and supportive. Highly recommend the Philco team.

Aside from Philco's consistent support for small business in the south end of the island, we had our carriage home and garage built by them. The project was done extremely well, on budget and was exactly what we wanted. The group was on point, honest and delivered a quality product on time and communicated very well through out the build. Would highly recommend Glenn and Phil for any projects, big or small!

Can't follow simple parking rules, thus making roads they illegally park on dangerous. I'd hate to see the workmanship of the homes they build if they are so willing to flaunt the rules of the road.

We have been very pleased with our home by Philco. There was an issue when we moved in that was not caused by them and they came that night to help sort things out and the full crew arrived first thing the next morning. I feel that they built a quality home and have been responsive to any needs.
