Get 2 chicken biryanis upsized for about $15 each and you will easily feed a family of 4.I first came by here as a student in 2018 and I was blown away by the deliciousness of the Biryani here, despite the no frills interior and basement location. Fast forward to 2022, I was skeptical at first due to the uncertainties about the standards changing post-pandemic, but to no avail.The biryanis are still done fresh, served generously at reasonable prices. Although the chutney served on the side seemed watery, the evenly spread masala in the Biryani compensated for it and in no way was the chutney necessary to be relied on in uplifting the flavours.Yes it was a busy dinner rush, yet the staff here including one of the kitchen staff, asked us out of concern if we liked the Biryani. With delicious Biryani, friendly staff, convenient hours/location, how can I not make this a regular spot for my Montreal trips?

I have also lived in Alberta and Ontario but this is the best biryani I have ever tasted in Canada. Their portions are generous. What you see in the photo is the upsize portion, and it cost me around $13, $17 for combo. They have decorated the restaurant with artifacts that make you nostalgic for Pakistani culture. Great experience overall, highly recommend!

Very good food! Really tasty biryani rice and the chicken was wonderful. Especially the chicken tikka which had a nice, subtle hint of spicyness. They are open late which is very nice and are conveniently near Guy-Concordia. Several things on the menu they weren’t able to serve. The bathroom was out of order. It was really busy, even on a weekday night last 9 pm.

Highly recommended for everyone, specially for a student (carry your college ID card for extra discount).Hyderabadi Biryani is not up to the mark but all other items like butter naans, biryani (mutton, chicken), curries (mutton, chicken) etc are great, you will love it.

Amazing food. Their bombay biryani will take you right back into streets of Karachi. Super friendly staff. They suggested great items and even gave us Chai as we were coming back from a long trip. I will come back for more when I am in town the next time.

I recently organized a corporate potluck and decided to order Indian biryani and samosas. Even though the restaurant typically opens at 11:30, they kindly accommodated my request to have the food prepared before 11 and Gahoor personally came to deliver the food as I had no-one to pickup. I must say, the food was absolutely fantastic, and everyone at the event loved it! I want to make sure I provide them with excellent feedback for their exceptional service.

I am in love with the food here. Its always fresh and piping hot. This time we had chicken tikka biryani and chicken curry combo, and both were absolutely perfect.The co-owner is a wonderful gentleman from Karachi, and that is reflected in the tasted.Just don't go in expecting a 5 star hotel environment. Go in for the taste and you won't be disappointed.Highly recommended.
