This used to be my favorite Portuguese chicken place. But I went today on Canada day, something is not right. I swear I saw the guy put a big scoop of sauce on the chicken, but by the time I open to eat my fries and chicken, there is no sauce (I swear). The chicken is dry dry and not just that, the chicken leg is unrecognizable (the meat is not attaching to the leg, and in bits and pieces). It almost felt like it was switched behind the counter. (I am not gonna start rumors but that's how it felt like.)I will attach a pic of the finished container and you will see no sauce in it.But yes, I would say I did get good service with the staff. Very friendly.And also I like to add I have been to Romados for many years and I always have high regards for this establishment. But not this time. This time is real bad. I don't think I will go back for a long time to come.

The service was good, the salad was better than expected, the fries were just OK (I received a fresh batch and even then, they could have been soooo much better - I think they were fried in old oil - I make better fries at home in my Breville deep fryer. The key is to not use rancid oil). The part that ruined my experience is the chicken - it was removed from a heated oven" below the grill area and I think it was at least a day old. The reason I suspect this is because the employee asked me if I wanted spicy

Best chicken ever! Great place, everyone was friendly and welcoming. The dining area was quite comfortable as well. I’ve tried half chicken with potatoes, fries and salad. Everything tasted delicious! The salad was very fresh, chicken soft inside and potatoes were the best.Would definitely come back when in Montreal again.

We had the chorriso, 1/4 chicken and poutine. Chicken was juicy but not enough of the Portuguese sauce. Chorriso was a bit on the dry side. Poutine was good with thick cut fries. Portion we were large for the cost so it was really good value.

Amaaaaazzing chicken sandwiches. Holy. One of the best I've ever had in my life. So juicy and saucy and roasted to perfection. I can't recommend Romados enough. You've got to try it. They also have Portuguese egg tarts!The chicken comes with fries or salad (or both). When we ordered takeout, our food was buried in a mountain of fries, which was fun. It's very filling and worth it. 10/10. I can't wait to go back.

Been going for over a decade, drive from Lasalle every now and then. The owner changed but they have maintained the great taste and service. They offer free bread Rolls after 7pm

Great Portuguese chicken and bakery. A bit on the salty side but the peri peri sauce compliment it really well. Portion is BIG, so order small portion if you want to try for variety. Parking right across the street, so a great stop before heading home to Toronto.
