Manitoba Theatre for Young People (MTYP)
The programs offered are fantastic! My kids have been attending for 3 years now and very much enjoy the classes and instructors. My only criticism doesn't really involve MTYP. Sometimes space is rented to third parties to use. This OK, but from my experience these groups frequently have a sense of entitlement while here. That us people here for actual classes are interfering with their activities. A friendly reminder that using this space is a privilege to these third parties may be needed. Thanks.

Manitoba Theatre for Young People (MTYP)
I used to attend MTYP a few years ago before I aged out and I could not recommend the musical theatre company enough. If you or your child so much as likes musical theatre, age 13 and up should audition! I have made lifelong friends and have developed such a love for the performing arts. I went to see this year's production of Urinetown and it was such a fun musical. The students learn so much and grow as people and performers; worth every penny!!

Manitoba Theatre for Young People (MTYP)
I've only been to the Manitoba Theatre for Young People (MTYP) for Manitoba Fringe Festival plays. I know it has at least of a couple of venues, one small venue with folding chairs and limited seating, and one large venue with permanent seating and better acoustics. Parking is fairly convenient with a multi storey lot directly next to it at $2/hr.

I have just tried to contact the box office (on a Friday at 2:45 pm) as I am planning my first visit to MTYP. I have spent 15 minutes on hold and had to hang up. Not impressed.
