Ajdar Zapata Sandwich

Zapata genuinely satisfied my stomach to a degree I didn't think was possible!! The combination of flavours and meats were exceptional. It was like tasting all of my favourite persian dishes in one sandwich!

By Far the worst persian sandwich store I’ve ever seen in the GTA. everything was raw and tasted awful. I had the pizza sandwich numerous times from other stores and it was really like a pizza in a bread. I Spent $50+ for something I could have made at home for $10. very disappointed with the taste!! service was fast and friendly.

I was in Zapata Sandwich 2 days ago. The place is small but cozy and clean. The food tasted fantastic. Although the portion was much but you can't stop eating those specially delicious sandwiches. The service was exceptional, specially Nahid is so nice and attentive. I definitely suggest it to everyone who loves special sandwiches.

I tried this place almost a month ago. i wanted to leave a review then but i decided not to. i am leavig the review now just because when you read most ofthe negative reviewes here, you will see the owner of the business blame customers one way or another. why dont you think that there might be something wrong or there is room for improvement. nobody is against your business or any iranian business who provide good service for the right price. i wanted to give 3 star just because of the food expriance that i had but this business is not getting more than 1 from me just because the way owner of it think.

My husband and I drove past this place so many times and it always caught our attention, so we promised each other that we would try this place out one day. Today was that day, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!My husband and I decided to order the Giant Ajdar Sandwich, which we knew was a two-person sandwhich. We also got a Zapata Special French Fries to share.The Giant Ajdar Sandwich truly lived up to its name. Although we initially thought it to be pricey ($28)--it was totally justifiable when we got the Sandwich. It was HUGE and super heavy. We joked that we could work out with it lol. As soon as we took a bit of the Sandwich, I knew that we would be returning. It tasted SO good! The sauce was so addictive, the bread was a typical Iranian sub bread with white sesame ontop, and the sandwich was PACKED with a big sausage, Iranian cold cuts, grilled chicken, hamburger, mushrooms, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, etc. It was a powerful meal! We were so full, we (two grown adults who eat big portions) couldn't eat the fries since the sandwich was more than enough! I have taken the fries hom and will have myself a meal tomorrow since it looks packed and substantial!All in all, this place is highly recommended. 10/10-- would come again!!

Amazing food and great value. Been there a few times, never been disappointed. Tasty food and generous portions. Will recommend it to anyone looking for good food and excellent value in Richmond Hill.

Everything was good when they start business but day after day they reduce amount of topping and quality. Take look at my two order with parsley and onion!!! Did you see that :)Instead of excuse try to resolve issue not send long email also please don’t compare people success we are many successful business that hear the customer.Also this was the 3 times happened and every time that I call I heard sorry.

Super expensive and low quality. Paid $22+tax&tip for a steak sandwich so we expected a big size sandwich with lots of meat but it was a medium size one with too much sauce and a little bit of meat, tasting like bread and sauce!! Same with the tongue sandwich. Would never go there again.

Got cold cut what I got was bread and potato chips I had to give it to my dog! Missing sauce and lettuce !! this is my second experience hopefully next time won’t happen
