Hockridge China

I had been desperately searching for Fiesta ware and finally found the amazing selection available at Hockridge.My order was small - just four dinner plates and four side plates in aubergine, but I received as much courteous attention as if I'd been ordering a service for twenty four. when they arrived, I was, and still am, delighted with them.Recently I called Hockridge again, this time to order four soup/pasta bowls and spent much time agonizing on whether I should play it safe and order in aubergine or - as I really wanted to do - go for the tangerine colour. I went for the tangerine and again, the courtesy, patience and consideration on the Hockridge side of the phone was outstanding.My tangerine bowls have just arrived, packed so carefully that they'd withstand any accident. I look forward to using them and can't recommend the Hockridge selection AND service too highly.

Called up to inquire about repairing grandmothers Limoges and Noritake China.Very polite, helpful, honest and very knowledgeable. I definitely would use Hockridge China for any repairs that I need done. The information I received was very helpful, and appreciated. Thank you

Be careful when choosing this place to repair your china. Although Barbara told me she would email me details on the repair of my china she did not. I called again to ask her to email me the details she called me back to say they would not repair my goods and that I should come and pick them up. I spoke to the owner and he apologized profusely but said that this was not the first time this happened but that Barbara had worked there for a very long time and he could not get rid of her. He then went onto say they had a whole basement full of repairs that people did not pick up. Very bizarre phone call. Needless to say, I have found another place to repair my china.

A really quaint china shop that's one of a kind. You won't find another one like this in Toronto. It is like out of a movie, a living history of a shop & a time that no longer exists in Toronto. It's stuffed, so be careful when you turn around. Lots of china. If you don't see what you're looking for, they will order it. They also have antique pieces throughout the store, so it can be a real treasure hunt. Ask for Barbara, she's just great, friendly & helpful. You'll love the shop, I think it's from the very early 1900's. It is right on busy Yonge Street(Toronto's main street), so there's absolutely NO parking. Take a taxi.

The gentleman working was extremely dismissive when I asked him for help in sourcing a gift for my parents. I had pictures of the patterns and markings of what I was looking for from a well known set and I was brushed off immediately.

I showed up here looking for a specific tea cup for my fiancée as a wedding gift. Both of the people who worked there helped me look through the whole store to find exactly what I was looking for. This store is great if you are looking for any fine China or Royal Doulton figurines.

What a great piece of Toronto history this shop is. I could spend hours in here looking at all the great things they have. Family owned business for generations and you can tell with the amount of care the father and son put into it.

Little gem in Toronto -- glad I walked into this store over the weekend. Great selections, friendly staff. Don't feel like I was being judged for just browsing. Will definitely come back again.

Extremely nice and knowledgeable staff at Hockridge. William was able to help me identify some old Italian plates I have. He took time out to assist me which was truly nice of him. I’m looking forward to visiting the shop, places like this are becoming scarce!

Fabulous gem of a store. I have purchased several Moorcroft items from.here and have always been overwhelmed by the level of service.
