Jelly Bean Academy and Daycare

The staff are what make Jelly Bean stand out from the rest. When dropping off our kids we have full confidence they are being cared for like family. We were referred to Jelly Bean through a close family friend who told us about how amazing this day care is and we are glad we chose to send our children here. Our kids enjoy going to school because they are always greeted with so much love from all their teachers. It’s a nice feeling to be able to walk away confidentially knowing our children are in great hands.

My son has been attending Jelly Bean for about 2 months now, and our experience overall has been a very positive one. Although still a bit early, have started to notice some developmental changes in him for the better, and we feel comfortable dropping him there daily, feeling assured he is in good hands (Ms. Maria, Ms. Lisa, and Ms. Ally) and will be taken care of. Thank you Jelly Bean and the teachers, and keep up the great work!

I have had two children attend Jelly Bean and would recommend it to anyone! The staff are amazing and genuinely care about the kids. They go out of their way to make sure the children are comfortable, engaged, and happy. The teachers plan engaging activities and make sure the children are always learning. Both of my children were very well-prepared for Kindergarten because of the amazing care and attention they received at Jelly Bean!

I have been a teacher at Jelly Bean since 2015 and each year it gets better and better! I feel so lucky that I was given the opportunity to become apart of the Jelly Bean family where the staff and parents are kind hearted, welcoming and friendly. Being able to shape little minds and watch the children grow from toddlers to preschoolers fills my heart with so much joy. The relationships created at Jelly Bean with my co-workers, the parents, and of course the children, will last for years to come. As a teacher at Jelly Bean our goal each day is to create an environment for the children that promotes love, safety, creative ideas, and happiness. When the children run into the classroom in the morning or when they leave at night and give us teachers a big hug and smile, we know we are doing our jobs right. I can't wait to see what the future holds at Jelly Bean!

We love Jelly Bean Academy and Daycare. After evaluating many daycare options in our neighbourhood, we chose Jelly Bean because of its welcoming atmosphere, bright classrooms and accommodating staff. Our child quickly grew attached to his teachers, who always made him feel cared for. The staff really do go above and beyond to make this place special. I especially appreciate how Jelly Bean celebrates special occasions, like Mother’s Day and Christmas, by inviting families to participate in snacks and activities after hours, creating a sense of community. Our oldest child, who is now six, is still close friends with two buddies he met at Jelly Bean. Our second child is currently attending Jelly Bean. It was the obvious choice, and we highly recommend Jelly Bean to parents looking for quality childcare.

Jelly Bean Academy is a home away from home. It is a place that is welcoming, a place that is warm, a place with a loving atmosphere, a sense of belonging, a place to play, a place to get messy, a place to have fun, a place to learn, a place to grow, a place to experience and a place to be yourself. I am a teacher at Jelly Bean Academy since 2017 and it has been incredible. I would always drive by and say to my mother I would love to work there, she would always ask why there? And I would always say because it feels like a perfect fit. I took the chance and hoped Jelly Bean was hiring when I applied and thank my lucky stars they were. From the moment of walking in you can feel how close everyone working there was, like a second family and how the children felt at home. It was somewhere I couldn’t wait to start my journey at.I would HIGHLY recommend bringing your child to Jelly Bean Academy if you are looking for a child centre to support your child, a centre that will go the extra mile for your child, a centre that will be loving towards your child, a centre that will have your child excited to be at school, a centre that will teach your child all the tools that they will need to grow, a centre that will have your child and yourself feeling you are home away from home.From the moment you walk through the doors of Jelly Bean Academy you will just feel a sense of belonging, I know I did.

Jelly Bean Academy is a phenomal day care in my opinion. My wife and I looked at numerous day cares and selected Jelly Bean because of the warm personalities that work there and the welcoming environment. The rooms are child centered and age appropriate. I felt and feel confident in the emotional and academic care provided. There staff are calm and caring and genuinely enjoy their work.

We have been a part of Jelly Bean family since 2011. My older son who is now in elementary school started there when he was 15 months old and still continues to go there for after school care. My younger one has been going for the last three years and is currently in the senior preschool room. All the staff at Jelly bean are just awesome. They are very respectful, polite and truly care about the children’s well-being. They answer questions and concerns of the parents patiently and take personal interest in each child. Their turnover rate is so low and that must say something about the organization. My kids are picky eaters and the teachers in all the rooms have encouraged them to try new foods. Ms. Sandra is an amazing teacher. She goes above and beyond to ensure that the kids are stimulated, engaged, well fed and happy. Both my kids have a lot of respect and love for Ms. Sandra.I would highly recommend Jelly Bean to anyone that is looking for a safe, clean and stimulating environment for their children.

Our son has been going to Jelly Bean academy for just over a year now and we couldn't be more pleased with every aspect of the school. As first time parents, it is definitely nerve racking to just pick a day care and trust that your little one will be taken care of- but Jelly Bean offered every reassurance that they would do just that. One of our favourite aspects is the camera system that is in place, which allows us to check in on our little one whenever we want to. But funnily enough, we dont do it that often because we know he is having a great time, as he always comes home so happy. All the teachers know us and our son, regardless if they teach him or not, and are incredibly friendly. The updates at the end of the day always give us a great idea of the kind of day he had, and there is always someone to answer the phone if we have any questions or concerns throughout the day. I recommend Jelly Bean to all new parents I come across, and as we are expecting our second child, i love knowing that the worry of daycare is taken care of, as he will also be attending Jelly Bean when his turn comes. 5 stars all around for this day care that feels like home <3
