I had to block this number today after they wouldn't stop calling me to set up an appointment. I was referred to them last year around December but after 6+ weeks of waiting for someone to call me, my optometrist referred me to another surgeon in Red Deer (who is great and saw me within a week of calling me the first time, and has seen me twice since). In March, the second time they called me (and I called back til I spoke to someone who could understand me), they said they will put a note on my file that I had already been referred to someone else. Today for the third time the same Asian woman, who could not understand me the last time (5 minutes wasted that time just trying to get her to spell my name correctly) called me once again. I insisted that I talk to somebody else in the office and after several minutes of debate was able to finally be put on hold so I could. The other person, who could understand English, came on the line and tried to say that maybe my surgeon had referred me to the office? I said well there's no reason for them to do that, but I still had to waste my time calling my surgeon and confirm that. They had made no such referral. So Dr. Fung's office said they would 'once again' put a note on my file that said I had been referred to someone else. I pray for anyone who is referred to this office. It is sad, with the serious shortage of medical services available to Albertans, that I would have to block one of the few Red Deer eye surgeons available, from ever calling me again.

The waiting room was full. We were there for 45 minutes before an assistant had time to do a vision test and put drops in. Then the wait continued for the doctor....They might not need a big waiting room if they asked everyone to show up 40 minutes later. There's a sign at the reception desk announcing a standard appointment is 2 hours. No kidding! They should take a course in time management.

I am very satisfied with all my experiences with Dr Lee and staff. I am always greeted pleasantly, and office staff are accommodating in the event I need to reschedule an appointment.Dr Lee is professional in presentation, and is always willing to explain my situation (I have glaucoma), and to answer all questions. I never have the sense of feeling rushedDo I have to wait at times? Absolutely. But I don't expect anything less of a specialist such as Dr Lee. The waiting room definitely lacks in esthetics but I'm much more interested in a good doctor, than a fancy waiting room. Highly recommended.

All the staff went to lunch at the same time. No communication, just a waiting room full of angry patients and their drivers. One staff member was coughing through her mask and belittling a patient for the whole office to hear. Waited hours to see the doctor with no explanation of why these appointments take 2+ hours. Be very skeptical of places that have to put up signs regarding zero tolerance of foul or abusive language...
