I take my 5-month poppy there with an appointment.I've called her and told her the breed which is a medium-size golden doodle, age, and also mentioned that this is our first time and I want to trim his fur before winter. I've also asked the fee and she said sth between 55 to 65 for washing, nail, and grooming, complete service.It takes 3 hours and she just trims his face (see the attached photo that they put on their Instagram page, could you tell the difference?), his bot, and nails and mentioned that he got tired cause he is poppy and I can not do the whole body, you can come no later than 4 weeks to do the whole body.And he charged me 92$. They don't have an answer and never answer my message on their Instagram page.I don't understand why it takes 3 hours? And why my poor poppy was so tired? He is so a calm dog and loves water and even stays when I dry him with a blower.Why they can not do the trimming now and what is the difference between now and 4 weeks later?Except charging me more money for next time! and for sure they are not professional, maybe they by the business new.1- Will never, ever recommend this grooming and I am so disappointed.2- I learned that just take a look at recent reviews on any business if you want to decide on reviews.--------------------Reply:There is no way to reply to your comment so I do the edit and write it here:1- I've paid the whole unfair fee you asked, so I don't want to make something believable or lie on anything, everything I said is completely true.2- If a puppy is 40 to 55$ why do you ask for 92$ with no special service?????3- You can make sit every dog, especially my well-trained dog even if they are tired, it is funny that you use the photo that you took as wisdom.4- I am brushing my dog every two nights, he has curly fur so the next morning he looks like this, I've told you when I came to you that he has no tangle in his fur, Why do you want to make it believe that he was not in a good situation????5- Good to mention, you even not trimming his paws6- You've done your job, yes, and because of that I gave you another star but it is not worth 92$ it worth sth around 40 to 55$ as you mentioned.---> I will never answer your comment again, as I said I've paid this amount and it was my fault that not fix it with you before I leave my beloved there.I just wrote this review for the others to read and decide.Good luck with your business.

First time grooming experience for our new puppy and 5 year old girl. Staff was super welcoming and friendly and knew how to handle dogs with care. They take their time and our dogs were super fluffy and were smelling amazing! Would definitely recommend for pet parents that want their dogs well groomed and in good hands!

I brought my two long haired cats here for a nail trim and to be shaved. I told them how my bigger cat tends to me more on the aggressive side and my smaller cat is timid/anxious. They allowed me to be a part of the process which was quite nice because I agreed it would help them be less nervous. We started with my bigger cat with breaks in between because naturally she wasn’t pleased with being groomed but that’s typical behaviour and I appreciated the breaks in between so she could calm down. My smaller cat however was far too nervous and they only managed to do the top of her body. They still had to clean up my bigger cat and the smaller one was too nervous so I told them it was fine, that I didn’t need a perfect cut I mainly just needed the butts done and a mat my larger cat had. They appreciated and respected this and asked if I wanted to come back next week to finish the cut on my smaller cat and clean up my larger cat and I said absolutely. Sometimes these things are stressful for animals and you can’t get done all in one go. Anyways I would recommend they are gentle and patient and understanding.

Gabriella took amazing care of my baby girl. She came in super matted and came out looking like a princess! Gabriella was so sweet! Happy to have found a groomer for our visits to Montreal!

You people have no sense of empathy ? Knowing we just lost our best friend and you go on and write this in the midst of the horrible grief we’re experiencing you saying we didn’t wanna continue caring for our dog ? No one is being blamed and you guys had no problem accepting the generous tip you got from us and we aren’t even choosing to take any illegal action no amount of money can bring back the friend I just lost….. and your ignorant comment should show all your clients how you care for the animals and their owners… reading this broke my heart more than already is… I hope no one has to experience something like this. This was extremely insensitive.

The service is amazing. The workers are so gentle and you can see that they love animals. I brought my kitten for her first bath and nails cutting. The worker was so gentle and nice with my kitten. My kitten didn't cry at all even for the drying part. I recommend their salon to all pet owner!!!

Our puppy had an amazing experience at Spa Le Petlandais! We are very pleased how he turned out. The grooming service was very professional and it seems that Gabriela has a strong passion for grooming dogs. We will definitely be coming back for all of our grooming needs! 10/10 service and price, would recommend to all.

I am very happy with my experience here today! My miniature poodle Teddy was matted and received a full grooming service. He looks so cute with his fresh new haircut and bandanna! The owner is very kind and accommodating and I appreciate how the grooming is done out in the open. The groomer was so kind and patient with my senior dog Teddy and I am very relieved to find such a wonderful doggy spa in Montreal. They truly care about your pet and you can tell that grooming is their passion. Thank you for everything! :)

Today we had for the first time grooming services for our Black Labrador Retriever. The service was just great!! We called earlier to set up an appointment, and they were really accommodating and accepted to give us an appointment for the same day. Our doggy came back all shiny, smelling amazing, claws cut and ears cleaned!!We will definitely go back!Thank you ☺️ again!
