Attended as a child 50 years ago. Congregation elderly. Music durgy. Typically United Church worship. Disappointed by low attendance but not surprised.

Gower Street United Church is a Beautiful old church in the heart of the St. John’s downtown core.It is often noted that their is limited parking in the area however in reality there is a public parking garage at 330 Duckworth St. This parking is a 4 min walk or a 1 min drive.

Lovely old church. Our First United Church Mens Club was invited to a dinner meeting with the Club at Gower. Great few hours of fellowship and entertainment and a great meal. Thank you, Gower Street United Church Mens Club.
