This is a great neighborhood pub. Rotating draft beer selection and some awesome BBQ chicken wings that are a must try.

Corner type bar w decent food. Nothing special. Perks are $1 pool table and metal-tip darts. If you like neighborhood pubs, you'll like it here.

Best pub in Buffalo. Good culture and vibes. No weird people or individuals you have to avoid. Security is fair but nice. If you wanted to escape from the college bar scene, walk into a place where everyone knows your name". Go to Essex."

One of the most iconic dive bars in Buffalo. And unlike the Pink, the crowd shows up before midnight. Best jukebox and best overall vibe.

Nice, corner bar. Reasonable prices and pretty good food. Tried the Pub burger dilla (basically a burger Quesdilla) and it was very good.

After a few PBR'S and a shot of tequila...the smokey aroma emanating from the kitchen had me wanting to order some smoked wings but alas..they weren't ready yet. I'll be back for those!
