About the Business
That Little Place by the Lights | Italian restaurant serving traditional Italian cuisine from recipes learned from Nonna. Offering our guests handmade authentic Italian pizza and pastas. We make our gelato right in house exactly the way we did when we had our Gelateria in Italy, and now with dairy free choices available. We have gluten free menu selections to choose from as well.

That Little Place By The Lights
We had a great dinner here this evening! We ordered the puttanesca and fruitti di Mare. Both were delicious, scallops cooked perfectly. Paired delightfully with a glass of seafood & co which was a refreshing wine I haven't seen offered anywhere else! Service was super friendly and attentive, overall a great experience!

The best place for date night! They have fantastic food and a great atmosphere timer after time we eat here. The new patio out-back is a fantastic addition!

We didn’t make reservation and this is a small resteraunt. Server is very polite and within 10 mins we sat at the back of resteraunt. Food is great and decent portion. Would highly recommend.

That Little Place By The Lights
Where do I start? The bread was delicious until someone at my table found hair on their slice of bread; after which we all stopped eating. Then, the food took 1 hour to come to the table. It was a long wait seeing that the restaurant was only 60% full, but we remained patient. Then, the server forgot my order, so the rest of my table ate while I had to wait another 20 mins for mine. I was again patiently waiting for my food. When the server finally came with my food, she gave me a pizza, BUT I ordered a pasta! I just declined the pizza, as by this point I have lost all my appetite. The server did not apologize and just said OK and left with the pizza. In fact we realized that she hasn't even returned to the table to see how we were doing. All in all, I ended up just eating my kid's leftover as he felt bad for me and to be honest, I just ate for him. It was very greasy as it was an Alfredo pasta. Others at my table thought their dish was good though. Unfortunately, the service was the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. I would not recommend this place, unless you you want hair with the food, IF you get it at all.

Such a cute experience dining here! Very friendly staff and amazing food. Had the garden salad with house dressing to start and the sausage penne as an entree and it was such nice comfort food with amazing flavors. Definitely recommend this spot if you're in the area and looking for a classic Italian dining experience. However they do not take resos, so it is first come first serve :)

We got a table on their patio at the back of the restaurant. Their patio has a nice lake view. We ordered a Linguini Alfredo, a pizza, gnocchi with meatballs, and a salad. Our server told us the kitchen was slow that day but we had plenty of time so it was okay. Everything was fresh and tasty. The server came back a few times to check if everything was okay. He bought us the dessert menu without asking. We ordered the gelato tasting. All 3 flavors were yummy.

We were in Huntsville for a Dance Competition this past weekend and this restaurant was recommended to us to try. We were a large group of 14 and thankfully we got there before the rush happened. They were able to accommodate our large group. .Sue was our waitress and she was amazing. Our whole dining Experience was top notch ! The food was fantastic so delicious and reasonable priced. The Gelato was a nice treat to end the dinner.

Pro:- Overall the main meals we ordered tasted good.- They had a good selection of food with variety of options- When we arrived the restaurant wasn’t full and they were accommodating to a larger groupCons:- after eating a couple of pieces of bread, which is served before the main dishes, hair was found on one of the pieces of bread- it took a long time to get our food. Even though we were a larger group we ordered 6 dishes and 2 drinks - took over an hour to get our food-one of the dishes they recommended didn’t come out with the rest of the meals-waited another 20mins for the missing dish and ended up with the incorrect dish- they apologized but never asked how the rest of the dishes were or how we were doingOverall, it’s unfortunate the service didn’t match the quality of the main dishes. I recognize that mistakes happen - but really felt like there was a lack of acknowledgment and desire to make things right.

A lovely place to visit for authentic Italian food, being a vegetarian it is difficult to find variety of options but this place had many veg options to my surprise.The servers serve you with a smile and the food is the best. Compliments to the chef !
