Our cat Kiwi was taken such good care of at Carleton Place Vet Hospital! Everyone there is kind and helpful. I find the whole atmosphere to be very welcoming. The vets all seem very knowledgeable and caring, and always answer all of my questions. Kiwi was spayed here; her surgery went very well and she was sent home with thorough aftercare instructions. We feel lucky to have a great vet, and Kiwi is happy too!

I just want to give a heartfelt shoutout and sincerely thank this amazing team for their swift care towards our 14 year old dog.He suddenly got ill and the receptionist was able to book us into the earliest same-day emergency appointment.I am happy to report that thanks to their devoted attentive care, he is feeling better and is definitely acting more like his goofy lovable self.Thank you again! We are so grateful for your professionalism, care, kindness and support!

First time we brought our rescue dog Lukie to the Carlton Place Veterinary Hospital was today. They were very considerate to our dog’s needs. Dr Cote did a thorough exam and explained her findings in easy to understand terms and was very patient with our questions. She also laid out a plan of care to treat Lukie with medication for a condition that we were not aware he had. We didn’t meet the behind the scene vet techs but would like to thank them as well as the front desk ladies who were very friendly and nice to chat with. We felt very at ease and Lukie was well looked after.

Our lab had excessive gas for quite awhile and was starting to vomit his water after drinking. After x-rays and other tests, he needed stomach surgery. They were able to get him in the next day. He was well taken care of and he is just starting his recovery. Thank you for the great care.

One of the best things about carleton place vet clinic, aside from Dr. Ann McEwan, is the fact that our appointment is being followed up by a written report! Thank goodness!!We had an over hour long appointment with her concerning our furbaby Sassy.I had some concerns that I thought might be treated holistically as Dr. Ann is a holistic vet. And absolutely!. She helped calm my concerns with regards to all of my girl's concerns.She is so knowledgeable. I cant even begin to tell youWe learned so much from her. I wish my regular vet, who is great by the way, had a holistica vet in site.Getting a 2nd opinion from Dr. Ann has made me so aware of how these 2 medicines can work together! Thank you Dr. Ann n lovely staff!

I went in yesterday for the first time-with my two cats. My cats never ever leave the house so they were pretty scared, but they got treated amazing! They took both cats at the same time and i know they got loved up lots. I thought maybe they’d be hiding from me when we got home but they were so relaxed, haha! I feel terrible, I forget the vets name but she is so amazing. All of the ladies there were welcoming & you could tell they all have huge hearts for your fur babies. My two kitties got their first shots & health check ups & I’m more than happy with the price & with the whole appointment. Thank you so much, I am glad we chose this vets!!

Best vet ever. Dr. McEwen is the best. So very thorough, kind, full of information and extremely knowledgeable. Everyone at this vet business is exceptionally helpful and very pleasant. My dog gets very excited when we approach the building.
