Asessippi Park Concession
Stingy on the double scoops of ice cream. Go to the privately owned Asessippi Beach and Campground on the river for lower prices, better tasting food, and a larger amount of double scooped ice on a waffle cone all for $5.

The old lovely couple who manages this place are very nice! They serve yummy foods like buttered mushrooms, poutine, chicken wings, fish and chips, etc. They also serve different flavours of ice cream. This place also have laundry and boat rentals, fishing baits, ice cubes, clean washrooms, etc. There’s a lot of accessible bear-proof/critter-proof trash bins that are very well maintained. The place all in all is clean and very well maintained… and oh! This place has humongous parking lots too!

Really enjoying it not so buggy as other places and the fishing is good if you know what works. Never that bad if you know what the weather will be like, when it rains its either a light spit or downpour

Stopped here as our final destination before returning home - my first 'real' motorcycle ride in SK/MB - what a great spot! Peaceful and scenic - the entire park is meticulously maintained (and was virtually empty on a late-July Monday). We enjoyed burgers from the concession - hit the spot! Delicious and filling. Recommended!!

Asessippi Park Concession
Owner/Operator is rude and instead of answering a simple question i.e. Do you sell sundaes?" they said "look at the menu under the open sign" and then when I ordered they said "Did that help you" condescendingly. There was no one waiting behind me in line so I wasn't holding them up and they were not busy at the time."

Great soft ice cream, food is excellent too. Out is all cooked to order so not fast food but worth the wait
