Nik is extremely pleasant to work with. He's very thorough, gave us lots of time, and explained it so well. He's very knowledgeable about all aspects of the building, exterior and interior. Nik came out last minute to do an inspection on an apartment I was buying. He was very thorough and informative. He walked me through how important the building envelope was and educated me on the impact of what poor maintenance could do to a building. I didn’t know what a rain screen was let alone how much it would roughly cost before the inspection, having only bought houses before. I’m very grateful to Nik, going forward I now have a much better understanding of what to look out for while shopping for an apartment. I will definitely use his services on the next place I find.

After having an offer accepted on a house in Mission BC that we really liked, we hired HammerHead to provide a home inspection prior to removing subjects. Nik was very thorough and identified many unseen issues which helped us to make an educated choice and walk away from a potential money pit. Nik was very detail oriented and thorough in his inspection. His inspection report (more than 100 pages) was very comprehensive and packed with useful info. His engineer background really shines through when he is explaining the inspection results to you. From his report we were informed of major issues with the house we were interested in and ultimately allowed us to walk away (saving us ++ money that it would've cost us to repair the major deficiencies). Pricing was also fair.

He was very thorough, much more detail than expected, and suggested many quick fixes to prevent future damage to the townhouse. As first time home buyers, we hired Nik to do an inspection on a property we had an accepted offer on. He was professional, thorough, and extremely helpful. He was always happy to answer any questions we had. Nik saved us from buying a property that would have more immediate renovation needs than we were ready for.
