With baby number 3 on the way Laura and helped me organize and purge! Now cleaning is so much easier because everything has a place and theres no more clutter! I also just purchased the cutest children's products for her online shop! The Organized has really helped our family out!

Laura and her team are a pleasure to work with - we moved into our home at Christmas time 2020 and after Covid, a cross country move, and merging 2 homes we needed her help (like, badly). Laura does a good job of communicating throughout the process and was able to add a personal touch to everything. The year I stopped walking was the scariest of my very healthy and privileged life. After two years, on the way to recovery, I made the decision to sell my little house and move to an apartment, where I could regain autonomy and independence.During convalescence (and the pandemic) I had entertained myself by watching literally hundreds of videos on home organizing, decorating, renovating, having little or no experience in these activities. As I learned to arrange furniture and plan for scaling down, I wondered if there were services similar to those I had seen on so many YouTube channels that I might hire to help. To my surprise, right here in the Ottawa region, I found a fabulous little business called The Organized.At first glance, they had what I needed: they could help me organize, move and unpack. And yet…The Organized is actually a harbouring a team of utterly amazing women. By day, they appear to be providing basic services in many needed areas for today's busy, even overwhelmed individuals just looking for some advice or assistance. In fact, they provide much, much more. In terms of actual service, they were nothing short of incredible: sorting, arranging, problem solving, suggesting and ultimately transporting those things I no longer needed or wanted. I never felt pressured, only supported. This is key to their approach.From my first meeting with Laura, the original super-heroine of The Organized, I felt I was in capable and experienced hands. She helped me with both the vision and the practical. This was to be my new home and frankly, a new beginning. She had the instincts and knowledge of a designer. And a realistic view of everyday needs, particularly with the mobility challenges I was facing. In very short order, I had a goal and a path to get there.With the team, who are disarmingly lovely, I got creative minds and builders (yes, shelving units, inspiring 'hacks', a new office) with their own power tools. I even got my reveal: as I left for a four-day business trip to Montreal, they packed, moved, renovated, unpacked and decorated my new home. Everything in its place.What was the cost? Peace of mind. Reassurance. Delivered with enthusiasm, laughter, understanding and dare I say, compassion.This is no ordinary team. This is The Organized.

Laura and her team are truly talented people. They took my condo with 0 storage from really messy to organized like magic. Friends who came over said it looked like a brand new place! I will definitely be hiring them again. Thank you the Organized, for your wonderful work!

I've worked with several good organizers over the years, but working with Laura has literally been the best experience I have ever had, both from a time efficiency perspective - we get so much done every time she comes - to the way she really listens and customizes her approach to the specific ways I like to live and work in my home. So much of my home has been completely transformed with her help and creative vision for making the best use of my spaces.
