Clown show. Not how Canadians treat each other. They just cancelled our signed contract after pushing back our job over and over with zero communication. I own a trades business and Jays company has no morals or customer service. Even when we explained that we need a roof finished our renovation and we have a child with autism that needs a home this fall....no care. they just cancelled our signed contract. they claim to have staffing issues....well if you treat your staff as terrible as your clients I'm not surprised. no values. no morals. not proud Canadian company absolutely terrible ...once you sign the contract they change completely! No one eill get a hold of you. Then Boom your whole life is turned upside down. Worst contractor Ive ever dealt with.

We had an excellent experience with Jay Carter Roofing. We needed a new roof, gutter and downspout for a newly built porch. We sent pictures, explained what we need, received a quote and contract all on-line. Once we accepted the work was completed in a timely way and to a very high quality. My back roof and sky light were leaking. I called Jay carter roofing and had a quote within 3 days at a very fair market price. The work was then done in 2 days to a very amazing standard. His team was super polite, tidy and did an amazing job of leaving the job site spotless. Cannot recommend these guys enough. its hard to find honest ethical roofers!

Amazing!!! From the beginning, to the end of our project every aspect of working with Jay Cater Roofing was amazing. Before putting any prices together Jay inspected our roof, inspected our attic, and even reviewed our eavestrough with me. He listened to us and gave us options. Even more amazing is his team of installers. Top quality people who care about everything they do. His team even built a small “hut” over our BBQ to protect it from any falling debris. During our installation there was a huge rainstorm, resulting in a small leak in our home. Jay’s foreman was at our house 25 minutes after I called Jay! The foreman explained the issue and fixed it immediately. I feel Jay Carter Roofing has an amazing product. The difference is his team and the effort they put in to look after the customer and their satisfaction.One of the top 2 contractors we have had work on our house, and I would have no hesitation to hire them again or recommend them! Great experience from start to finish working with Jay Carter Roofing on getting my roof re-shingled. Jay Carter Roofing was not the cheapest option out there, but based on my experience it was well worth the small premium. They were in constant communication from the first phone call to the last nail in the roof. I had some minor aesthetic issues I wanted them to address after the job was complete and they were back right away to make sure I everything was resolved. Would definitely recommend Jay Carter Roofing to anyone interested in getting a high quality job done at a fair price.

Working with Jay and his team was a 10/10 all around. We did a standing seam metal roof on an island property boathouse in Muskoka. Jay came back right away with a detailed quote (with various options to consider), and was able to come out in just a few weeks to do the job. Could barely get a quote out of other roofers, and some of them were highway robbery due to the complexity of the job. The installers were very professional and courteous and kept the site clean and safe. Jay kept the job on time and 100% on budget.
