Nikolaou Restaurant Equipment

Owner serves the people. Allowed me to borrow a tool out of the kindness of his heart. Took the time out of his day to save me a big trip at no cost. He is a good old soul. Shop is very impressive too. The supply is endless. Top notch.

The gentleman at the front desk (perhaps the owner?) is an absolute charm of a human. I just had to write a review about how homey he makes this store feel. His customer service and conversation makes you feel like he could be your dad! just the kindest human <3

Niko is my bestie, I respect him a lot.I had been renting my flat for the last five years, paying over $800 a month for it. Now that I had just found out about my cancer, my wife and I had to find a new place to live, and quickly. It was a Wednesday, and my wife was going out for the evening to meet her friends for dinner. That meant I was going to have to get in some serious couch-hopping, with one of my friends borrowing the furniture from my family.I could not get the dreaded furniture store to open on a Wednesday, even though the store was very close to my apartment building. I tried phoning several times that morning, but all I got was a message telling me the store was closed and I could call back the next day. The couch was our biggest purchase we had ever made as a married couple, and I was worried that we would not be able to get our money back if we did not buy it from them.Of course, I'm not a troll

Very cramped. But totally worth the trip if you love kitchen stuff! I've been here dozens of times and I always find something new to play with!

We’ve been baking more during the lock-down and wanted new pans, whisks, pastry brushes etc. Rather than buy from Amazon we looked for a local business and were happy to discover that Nikolaou deliver.Everything came FAST. All products were exactly as described on-line but I chose a baking sheet that was too big for our oven (should have measured). We called and said we’d like to exchange it (and buy another pan and some parchment paper). They offered refund or exchange. When my partner went to the store they had everything ready to go at the cash. They may have a means of doing this kind of transaction remotely but we didn’t ask.We are very satisfied and would highly recommend ordering kitchen supplies from Nikolaou.

good selection of products, no-nonsense

Brilliant and marvellously receptive folks. The prices are fantastic and so is the stock and selection of pans, knives and accessories. I left my name to reserve a skillet from the next shipment and they emailed as soon as it arrived. I’m still enjoying my chefs knives from a few years ago too :) Thank you!

Fantastic selection, super knowledgeable staff and very friendly. Excellent vibes in the store and the availability of products that aren’t easy to snag in the city downtown was a lifesaver (and on sale which was just perfect) 10/10 recommend!
