ACT Aquatic and Recreation Centre

Clean, quiet, warm tots pool. Lots of toys for toddlers. I loved the change room facilities. Heat lamp for changing, crib for baby, shower had a convenient bench to sit. Lockers had 4 digit code which I could not figure out. Lots of parking but a bit distant for my liking.

Great place for families with young children. The pool is open now. There is lots of space in the shallow end of the main pool. There are two slides on the main pool and a fun canoe for the kids. There is also a tot pool, and a hot tub. Soon there will be swim lessons and adult aqua programs. This is the warmest main pool in Edmonton and is great for those who have difficulty with movement. There are four aquatic change rooms so they should fit all your needs: female, male, inclusive, and Co Ed. For example, there are adult change tables, wheelchairs, open areas etc to help with accessibility. There are rooms available for rent. There is a sensory room for people needing to stim or get away from an overstimulating environment. Soon the concession will be open as well.

Great recreation place with a pool for children and anyone that has a physical disability. There is also a gym and meeting rooms. There is a common area with a food kiosk. Nice clean and tidy location with on site staff to help with your needs.

This place is terrible at communication between staff and customers, they have random swimming lessons at random times that takes up the whole pool, and reserve times" where ppl are able to reserve the whole pool from a certain time till a certain time.. so they have public swim closed for that time

No complaints. March 26- Front desk staff phenomenal, interacted w/ my child so kindly. The pool renovation has just finally been completed & this pool is clean & bright . The big feature I would like to mention is water temperature v WARM great for children. Hot tub is thee warmest temperature I’ve seen at city facility pool. Ladies the lifeguards are also nice to look at …laughing… one guard kindly offered to put my child’s life jacket back after use Tkx

I loved it.. loved that it seemed perfect for a family with little ones or special needs. Water was mild to warm temp.. the hot tub was better than most I been, too..

Beautiful place! Now that they have been fixing it over these 3/2 year it looks so amazing! They have a hotub a toddler pool and a deep pool and a big main pool also they have a slid for the deep pool and a toddler slide and a kid slide for the main pool, And the lifeguards are really friendly and kind they will treat ur child really good :)

After 3 years (COVID + Reno's) ACT pool was ready and officially open once again on March this year!It looks great, lost of space, great for swimming lessons or leisure. It has something for everyone. It has a lot of pool space for children and a hot tub.Easy access, a lost of parking space.

Loved the space we had for the birthday location makes it perfect for a private family engagement:)

Had a wonderful birthday celebration gathering here. The rec centre is super clean and lot's of places to sit while kids swim. Shout out to the lifeguards and special mention of the staff Gabrielle and Gurinder who made our toddlers b'day extra special.
