Her Majesty's Pie Company

Not since my Nana made homemade strawberry rhubarb pie, have I had a pie or crust (equally as important as the filling) that could compare.

Since Pie in the Sky (Cape Neddick, Maine) closed for good last Fall, i have been lamenting the loss of my Favorite Pie in the World. (In honor of that, i have enclosed below a picture of the last peach pie I bought there in June 2016)! Then i visited Vancouver in July, and met Ben at the Kitsilano Farmer's Market. I bought 2 pies and now i can rest easy that the Best Pie in the World can be found in Vancouver (5,230 km away, according to Google Map). The straqwberry--rhubarb and blueberry pie were both perfectly balanced in flavor (fresh and not too sweet), and in consistency of the fillings (not too runny but juicy). The crust was sublime: tender, flaky, and flavorful. Ben took great length to tell me how difficult it is to arrive at the industrial" process that creates hand-crafted-quality pies. Her majesty's have the most delicious flavours and keep the traditional pies flawless. Ben's passion for his craft really come out in his work!

This place has the best pie in Vancouver I have ever eaten.I've tried the Apple, Apple Strawberry, Blueberry, Lemon Meringue and Coconut Cream. It's hard not to eat more than one piece at a time it's that good.

Flaky and light pie crust with an incredible variety of fillings to choose from. An absolute must try! Pies also come in a small size that is perfect for sharing with 2-3 people. We had the apple and the peach (wow!)

Absolutely delicious gluten free pie! I had recently been diagnosed as Celiac, and was feeling pretty sorry for myself. I was thinking about all the incredible food that I could no longer eat. I was wandering the farmers market lusting after all gluten filled treats. Enter my savior - Her Majesty's Pie Company! The pie was fantastic, I couldn't tell the difference! 6 Years after my diagnosis this is still the best pie I have eaten. I dream of this pie! Fellow Celiac's and gluten intolerants, do yourself a favour and buy this amazing pie!

I've never tasted better pies than Her Majesty's pies and they look amazing too!! I've purchased at the Sunday Kitsalano farmer's market trying the Lemon Meringue pie and the Blueberry. The Lemon Meringue, being the most labour intensive pie, had the right amount of lemony tang in the custard and the meringue was whipped and baked perfectly. The Blueberry Pie had filling full of blueberries in a pie pastry that was light and flaky. The hand crafted lattice work on top was a work of art and made it so visually appetizing. The pies were boxed up nestled in purple tissue paper so no messy pies when you get it home! Looking forward to trying more of their pies!

I bought a pumpkin pie from the farmers market and I must say it is one of the best pies I have ever had. I bought a GF option and it was just perfect. Her majesty's pie company truly puts a lot of care and thought into their pies, deserving of 5 stars!
