CPL Aluminum Railings & Glass

My husband and I had hired CPL Aluminum Railings to install 2 different types of Railings in my back yard. We first met Lucio at the National home show. He was very helpful in explaining what their company could offer. I emailed him a short time after the show to come by and see what can be done. He did not only contact me within 30 mins, he arranged to meet me at my home later that day! I think he even arrived earlier then the time we agreed upon (I cannot tell you how many contractors I've met with were late). We were so impressed with his service and price that we did not hesitate to book his services. Our railings were installed as soon as they were ready and look amazing! In fact they did our veranda railing 25 years ago and since we chose to renovate it we chose them again since we were so happy with their past work and work they did on my street for some of my neighbours. As CPL custom makes its railing it was able to accommodate all the intricacies of our old house. A year ago CPL replaced three railings for us. One was a railing with glass inserts on a flat roof and another was a railing with beautifully stained cedar boards for privacy on our bedroom balcony. The third was a balcony rail where the existing posts were built into the roof, requiring CPL to constuct sleeves to seal in the existing posts. Lucio is very professional and did the job exactly when he said he would even though I had to postpone the job a number of times as the roofers kept us waiting. I had Lucio come back months later to install railing on my back deck and front steps. Once again I was extremely pleased with the crew and the great job they did. Most importantly, I wanted some way to attach a line to the railing to hang pool towels and Lucio came up with a brilliant idea of a custom bracket to accommodate me. I couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend CPL.

While their products appear to be of decent quality, the service they provide is less than adequate. In fact I can say that it is unprofessional. They are not helpful (or forthcoming) with options they carry. When asked for the aluminum railing and privacy wall colours they offer, the Manager told me to just look in their photo gallery". We are undertaking a major deck project and a tiny little picture of someone else's house on the computer isn't very helpful! There are other aluminum railing manufacturers in the area

Had our porch railing installed last summer, but our stairs were not completed until this summer, so CPL came back to install the railing for the stairs. Both times the crew were amazing, professional, and did an excellent job! The railing itself is perfect, we couldn't be happier! We did a lot of research before choosing CPL - one of the major factors that made our decision is the workmanship of the railings (there is no groove in the bottom rail, which sets this company apart from all others). Lucio came to measure and provide a quote, and he's very professional, highly knowledgable, and personable. We are overall extremely happy with CPL from start to finish, and we are enjoying our beautiful railing!
