My dog was welcome in the store! Well behaved dogs on a leash are welcome inside. Super thankful as it was 7 digits in the midday sun. (I would have driven home without shopping if I couldn't bring him in) Also, the store is only open to 30 customers at a time. There are measures in place to prevent the spread of covid19 including a hand sanitizing station.

Wider variety of items than most dollar stores. Lots and lots of party supplies, candles and greeting cards. Good selection of camping items and handy gadgets.

Store dollar store is nice and big, that’s a good items here, A lot of good party supplies here like balloons of all your favorite characters, And if you’re looking for cape breton craft like flags, ornaments, keychains you can get here. And there is lots of parking.

Why they call this a dollar store, I do not know. Bargains are few and hard to find. A lot of the prices you find here you can find at other stores even when the other stores products are not on sale. I looked at canvases since I am an artist. The prices were good, but the canvases were inferior quality and Michaels often have vastly superior canvases on sale for a few bucks more. So if you can't wait for a sale, go here. But otherwise have patience and get a better product for the same price.

Carrie's many items that other dollar stores don't. They are currently doing renovations as well as laying out Halloweem and Christmas merchandise. It will a better store when everything is completed.

These ppl shouldn't be running a business charging ppl twice for the same things...I only got 2 small bags of stuff a few bags of chips bars and a couple ornaments and sum baby items they rang it through ...n it was set at a certain price ...like $65 dollars I had turned to put something bk that I no longer wanted to purchase the woman looked at me n pressed a button on the cashier n it quickly jumped up to $280 they are over charging ppl and you need to watch them when they are ringing your stuff through I caught on to what they are doing,cause it seems everytime i go in here and they ring me in its the same ones over charging me ....if its a new person they don't. I strongly suggest doing your shopping at the dollarama, I was in shock the amount of stuff I got for a fraction of the price that I was paying at the great Canadian dollar store....and I shop alot ....almost everyday, you get to see ppls reactions and how they treat thier customers......

This store has a good variety of items. Lots of parking available. Shelves always stocked. You can't just go in for one item it never works out that way so take a cart when you enter.
