Parc de l'Île-Charron
There are better places then this to spend a day out by the water and the beach, but it's one of the very few around the south shore of Montreal. The expensive parking fees - especially if you also happen to bring a boat/trailer for the day - are completely unjustified for a very basic parc and a very crowded beach.

Nice but small beach at the Parc. Parking could be a issue though.

I used to love going fishing here. Found out now they want 16$ to park your car. $30+ if you wanted to use the free public launch" for your boat. Ridiculous!!! Any way or reason to tax you more and more. Id rather pay for a real national park then this dirt stripe with a couple benches. Pathetic!"

Parc de l'Île-Charron
It's a large park with a trail for walking and another for biking. There's a kids playground and park benches for picnics. There are fishing areas and campgrounds. It's a nice place to spend a day.
