Uncrowded aisles, rona distancing respected, aisle direction enforced by store clerks, felt safe shopping there during these terrible times. Also found a cake slicer/separator which is handy for making layered cakes.

Very large variety of products, very affordable and they have a self checkout. Products are high quality and they have everything you want I'm talking chips, candies, towels, kitchen accessories...

Bought some Rubbermaid Take Alongs 3-pk containers that were stacked on an end cap at the end of the aisle. Got home and found out they're not the same containers even though the package look pretty much the same. Called the store and person on phone says they're not responsible for customers putting things in the wrong place". Might be possible but I'm sure the stock person mixed them up since they do look identical. Dollarama told me to call head office. Called and left a message since they are most likely closed on the weekends. Guess we'll wait and see what happens."

The self-serve cashes being your only option is what gives it 3 stars. I like using self-serve but I like having the choice, more.

Self-Checkout should be optional, not mandatory. The store manager needs some serious attitude adjustment.

Run of the mill Dollarama as good as any other branch. Conveniently located as usual.Note that branches carry slightly different variety of items. Also, not all items are permanently in stock. Some deals are 'lightning deals', so to speak. So take advantage of ones that you deem to have special value, while you can... they may be one-time deals.

Just had a really bad experience with a man who was an employee or manager there. He was scolding my daughter at the checkout and just extremely passive aggressive. Was completely out of line.

I love dollar stores in general, this one is nice and big and offers many things for an awesome price. I only have one grievance, they installed self check out stations and I disagree with that strategy because it's not supporting employment. Other than that, it's still one of my go to places because the few that are still working are very polite and helpful.
