Phenomanal staff on the Women's and Children's floor. Special thanks to the amazing nurses who helped my wife, baby and myself for the three days we were there. Special shoutout to nurses Krista, Sam, Kaleen, Annie, Jacquie and Amy. You are truly outstanding!

Went in due to extreme abdominal pain and was in with the triage nurse in emergency within 2 hours, got all my CT scans done the same night before I was admitted and then spent 4 days here. Absolutely amazing staff on the presurgical screening floor (didn't get to meet nurses from other floors but I say they're probably just as amazing)All my nurses answered every question I had (including the 50th when can I go home" question lol) and made my stay as comfortable as possible.I want to send a special thank you to nurse Nicole

mix review here— emergency room staff are above par when it comes to patient care! They a friendly and make you and your family members feed supported and safe throughout their visit. They offer item to keep you comfortable until you’re scene and despite lack of funding, try to have you seen as soon as they can. l commend the staff and medical team on doing their best but this hospital fails both their patients and workers. Do better Chatham Health Care. I see people in pain, bleeding, broken bones, terribly sick sitting around waiting to be registered because there is just not enough beds and staff to handle the growing region! You have great professionals who do great work but it takes forever to get seen! Shout out to the security office team who shared a colouring book and crayons with my son in our 5th hour into our wait! So thoughtful and speaks to the great people at emerge

Despite being born here (which is still the biggest punishment ive ever had) my grandma was sent here after she hit her back in 2018. She hit the lower part of her back and all the doctors didn’t know what they were doing. They were all newbies, and despite hitting the LOWER part of her back they scanned the TOP part of her back and said nothings wrong. Eventually, she slowly became crippled. A month later, she was sent to Windsor and literal first day they immediately found the problem and the Windsor staff were baffled the people at Chatham didnt figure that out earlier. And because she had to wait a month to figure out whats wrong, she had a severe blood clot. To the point where she couldn’t walk for the rest of her life anymore. Unfortunately, she wont have to worry about that, because shes now dead. Seriously how does this happen? Who knows maybe the staff is better now, but I highly, highly doubt it. Do better.

Thank you to all of the staff working in the Emergency Department Saturday afternoon June 17, 2023 for the wonderful care you provided to my mother. I so appreciate the level of kindness and compassion extended to her from everyone. We left with a far greater understanding of my mother's condition and the medications needed to combat her pain. Dr. Sharma, you are truly amazing and the Chatham-Kent community is very fortunate to have you on their team!

My Journey through prostate cancer occurred during the Covid outbreak of 2019 to 2021. Due to the high outbreaks and the shortages of beds to treat Covid patients I found that my prostatectomy was less important than exposure to Covid. Subsequently, I was released from the hospital some 36 hours after my surgery with a bag strap to my leg and sent home to deal with it from there. I can’t fault the staff or the doctors for the actions taken, and I was provided with outside clinical services to deal with the post operation treatment to which I had to convey myself to daily. The clinical staff were great and proved that the decision to go that route as opposed to remain hospitalized, was a correct one. In my weakened condition of course I would’ve been more susceptible if exposed to COVID-19.So I am rating the hospital as a four out of five stars for my treatment and recovery. Happily, my cancer was cured, and I did not have to undergo any radiation.Chatham is a small community hospital however the professionalism of the urology department and its leader Dr. Abdi provided me with excellent service, and follow up exams and tests on a regular basis.

The triage staff was very pleasant. The wait was quick and the nurse practitioner Curtis was the best nurse I have ever had for my daughters care. He was very caring, he did his research on my daughters medical records so he can investigate more into her problems. He has a great bedside manner . Very understanding and compassionate . The whole staff was great caring as well. I recommend this hospital. Thank You for caring for my daughter.

Worst hospital out there I swear. I've been sitting in this pos place for the last 6 hours and nothing has been done. The people who are sitting in the waiting room are doing a better job taking care of people then the nurses and doctors. All of the doctors and nurses are sitting in the back doing absolutely nothing.

Went in for extreme pain and not being able to eat or stay awake. My reflexes are off and i domt have a fever. They left the tourniquet on my arm for a hour and a half causing the fluids to build up in my skin. Then i was sent home and they said it was the flu...Went to a different hospital my bowels are twisted. All i hear is horror stories from chatham hospital. London from now on.

I think these comments praising this hospital's ER were written by some dedicated staff. My experience, the nurses are rude, doctors lack bedside manner. The wait is long. The nurses stand there gossiping about other patients in front of patients. Spend more time socializing. I could go on & on about how awful this hospital is but I may as well sit in the ER waiting , even if near death, talking to myself . Thats the equivalent to their care and competence in that ER
