Valvoline Express Care

I went into my usual spot for my regular oil change. Express Care has always been who I have taken my personal and work vehicles to. This trip in the bay I was greeted by a polite young gentleman named Garrin. He waa polite and greeted me with a huge hello and thanked me for cominf in. He asked if I had any concerns and showed things about my truck that could use alittle attention. He was tentative and finished my vehicle within a very reasonable time. Express Care Garrin is a keeper!

I stopped in here for the first time, to get the oil changed on my daughter's car. The attendant, Brandon, was very friendly and thorough. He efficiently and expediently changed the oil, and pointed out a few things on the car. I will have no hesitancy going back for the next oil change and will recommended this place to family and friends.

Really polite staff member cared about our satisfaction. He didn't try to up sell us anything.

Was there on Saturday for an oil change and paid by debit. I was told the first transaction was declined so they put it though again. I was not provided a receipt for the first transaction and realized the next day that I had been charged twice. I went back on Sunday to get a refund and the attendant tried to give me a refund but got declined multiple times and started to blame me for taking the card out too fast on Saturday. There was no manager there at the time so he told me to go to the valet car wash on Gordon st to speak to a manager, I went there and no one was able to help me. On Monday I go back to the valet car on Gordon st to speak to the manager and she tells me she has to look at the transactions for those days and that she would call me Tuesday. I get a call Tuesday to go back to Valvoline for the refund. I go back and as they're giving me my money back it gets declined again. They proceed to tell me that it was voided at their bank with no proof and that everything is fine even thought I called my bank and they told me I was definitely charged twice by this place. Why would you make me drive across town to get my money back then all of a sudden change your story? That's really shady to me. This business is full of incompetent people that blame you for the mistakes they make. I had to dispute the charge with my bank and wait 5 to 10 days for my own money plus the several hours of running back and forth form Valvoline on Woodlawn to valet car wash on Gordon st. I bet they found it amusing to send me on a wild goose chase because no one is capable of giving a refund.

First time I've been here since the new owners and must say that I'm extremely happy with the service I received. Paul was very friendly and professional and I felt very confident with him servicing my truck. I have been going here for many years and there has been a few different owners and had many different technicians service my vehicles over the years. This was the first time a Tech had ever greased my ball joints. That's usually something I've had to do myself at home. Paul did a great job and he is an asset to the buisness. The only issue I had was because I had no cash, I was unable to tip him! I will make sure I bring cash for my next visit! Keep up the great service! Thanks!

The old man there is very helpful and kind to give good recommendations for any kind of work which has to be done

I want to take a moment to thank Justin and his technician for some amazing service. Had to return after an oil change and the tech quickly helped me and sent me on my way with a smile. 11/10, will return and has my recommendation!Keep up the good work

-5* for this Very small 1 Bay Shop with almost no customer waiting area. You’re sitting in the actual shop!! The prices are high compared to other places I’ve been to. Fortunately, the manager (Brad), was very efficient & clearly knew what he was doing. The owner should use the extra money he charges to make upgrades. I’d rather have a nice area to wait that’s comfortable and warm while I’m waiting for my car. I am the one paying after all. True Customer Appreciation is evident (or lacking in this case) in the environment the company provides for their waiting clientele. I can only assume it’s the result of such great staff. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back to this place. I’ll save some money and be comfortable at my next oil change somewhere else.
