Tip Top (Tailors since 1909)

Wedding parties beware! Ordered a suit in March, at the Tip Top Guelph location, for a wedding at the end of July. I'm in the wedding party, and all other ushers have received their orders placed at the Woodbridge location. Was told by sales associate, Ali, that they didn't have the correct size in store, but indicated I will be called when it's in, within a couple of weeks". Called the store twice for updates

We haven't been to Tip Top in years, and walked in and had one of the best experiences hands down ever! We were helped by Frank Santantonio who really knows his stuff! He was so helpful, listened exactly to what we were looking for, and outfitted my husband with a gorgeous suit. He went above and beyond, and provided exceptional service. We want to thank Frank for such an awesome experience. We will definitely be back. Photo of my husband spiffed up in his new suit to follow soon!

My last suit I purchased was at Tip Top probably around 20 years ago. I needed a last minute suit for my mothers funeral. Ali helped me out and honestly it was great service and a enjoyable experience considering, I just lost my mother the day before. I personally would like to thank Ali for his professionalism and politeness with my experience at Tip Top.Larry

If I could leave a zero star review I would. My son in law ordered a suit in Feb 2022 for a July 2022 wedding. Pants and blazer were ordered. Was informed a couple months back that the pants came in but was still waiting for the blazer. He wasn't informed until today that they are unable to provide the blazer due to stock outage. The size requested was 42 long a very common size but was told that the blazer couldn't be found anywhere and that there is no other way to fulfill the order. Very disappointed.

Ali is very rude and aggressive,Also claims to be Indigenous First Nations and is clearly Arab,

We went in tonight and Ali was amazing!! He helped get everything we needed, was very helpful and knowledgeable!****updated July 2022We had originally went to get suits for our wedding. Due to supply issues we settled for a similar tie from what we wanted. Weeks before the wedding the tie we wanted became available, knowing this was the tie we really wanted Ali, Chris and Frank went above and beyond to see we got them! We had our wedding this weekend and collected the other ties back to return to the store. All 3 were in the store tonight and we were so honoured by their congratulations and interest of how the day went!

My father and I went to Tip Top at stone road mall to look for suits and left disgusted by the treatment we received. I was making a phone call and when I ended the call I noticed that the man helping my father was being rude, aggressive, and rough with him. He spoke to my father ( a highly educated man) like he was incompetent. This employee was white, tall, looked like he was in his late 20’s, well built with blonde hair and I believe he had blue eyes. I didn’t want to think this was an act of racism until I saw him go over to the other white customers and treat them kindly and with respect. This employee saw my father who is a person of colour and decided he could speak to him in a disrespectful manner. I am so disappointed and disgusted. We left without buying the suit my father wanted because we did not want to give our money to a store and company who treated us so poorly . Yuck.
