Nirvana Pet Resort

My little Yorkie loves to go to daycare at Nirvana. He learned to socialize with other dogs there. I can drop him off almost anytime and he is always welcomed.

Today we took our ragdoll in for her lion's cut. When she was returned to us, I asked how it went and they said she hissed a bit, but had no big issues. (She's one of the sweetest tempered animals I've ever owned).Once we returned home I found numerous nicks on her body and several of her claws had been cut all the way INTO her pink quick. The shape of her mane is also lopsided (I had said I would deal with/wash out the clump at the mid front of her mane when I got home and for them to just go ahead and shape it [The groomers here apparently don't bathe cats before shaving them?]). The rest of her body is also rather unevenly cut, smooth she is not.We expected more for an almost $90 cut which lasted all of 30 minutes.I don't even mind her looking a little uneven, but the fact that they cut into her nail so deeply and then didn't inform us was rather upsetting.

I took my girl Lulu to the groomer Mollie and she was amazing. Lulu has PTSD from the death or her previous owner and is really nervous and whines a lot, especially when myself or my partner leaves her. I felt an instant trust with Mollie. She was very kind and loving with Lu and really knew how to comb her and trim her nails without making her more nervous and scared. Calming tone, and you could tell that she was very experienced. She was great, and Lulu was so happy when we left, all beautiful and clean. I would definitely recommend Nirvana and especially Mollie to anyone who needs a true dog lover to take good care of their baby!

Wow really amazing job with our dog, which is not an easy breed to groom (Samoyed). I think this is the cleanest she’s ever been ;) ! And they know about double coats and how one cannot shave them. Kaia’s paws were perfectly snipped and she was a happy camper. Would go again!

I booked an appointment, the person booking me in had gotten my phone number incorrectly. I showed up not knowing where the place was so i was 5 minutes late. I called to confirm directions, person who answered gave me a whole lot of attitude saying i was late and they tried to call. I asked what number they had, and then became aware they had the wrong number. They didn't offer to reschedule me in, or didn't acknowledge the error or miscommunication. I was left with your appointment is cancelled" and they hung up. Highly unprofessional when coming to customer service."

I have a rescue that hates getting her nails done and often will thrash and yelp the entire time. The Sr. Groomer not only had the idea of putting a cone around Tophs neck to keep her from hurting herself and others but by the end of it Toph was no longer thrashing or yelping and got her nails done. Of course her trims are always good, kudos to Nirvana pet resort!

Highly recommend Nirvana Doggy Daycare! Staff is friendly and truly genuine. My dog, Sage, comes home tired after playing all day and my favorite part is coming to pick her up and hearing about her day and new best friends". They have been so accommodating

I have been taking my dog there for years tho during Covid I did not. Prior to Covid I was paying for a clean and tidy as I kept my Shitzu long haired and was silky. I was paying 46 upon returning cost went to 61, which was a shock, but on my next visit I chose to give her an actual styled haircut. Short body round face, and longer hair in legs upon coming in I loved the shape but she did a horrible job her paws were not shaped no precision hand cutting. Her legs she just chopped her hair as she said she had some mats, never even took the time to blend it in. Upon getting home I had to fix the mess. Her face right shape but was not blended and as to sizzors the fact the sizzor marks showed everywhere. My mistake trusting she knew how to such a cut, but for 73 dollars and telling me will be 3 hours, I can guarantee she rushed her thru and she did not take 3 hours with her. I am not one to complain but it was a horrible job and I made the decision never to use Nirvana ever again. Wish there was a place to post pics

I tried to become a new customer for doggy daycare and thought they were ignoring me - then received a pretty rude email days later that they don't “just take dogs in for daycare” haha ? … had already moved on by that point anyways.** I’m not a sir - but you wouldn’t have known that as you didn’t even take two seconds to ask me any questions. It’s obvious my business is not good enough and your assuming I’d only be a one time customer (again you never bothered to ask). I wasn’t even going to leave a review but once I saw other people mentioning your poor attitude I decided to back their story. Good luck to you “sir” :)
