Via Calligraphy

It was a great experience attending the Introduction to Brush pen Calligraphy workshop. Sylvia was very helpful and understanding and gave a lot of tips on the techniques of how to hold the brush pen and write calligraphy letters with proper amount of pressure. It did help me polish my skills and encouraged me to consider calligraphy as an interesting hobby to pursue.

Really engaging, fun, and informative! Time flew by so quickly and no one wanted to leave afterwards.All of the tools were provided and you get to keep it. Templates are included so that you can continue to practice. Sylvia is a patient and fun instructor.Basically, LOOOVVVEEED IT!!! Loved it so much that I didn't remember to take any photos!

I attended the beginner’s calligraphy workshop and it was amazing! Sylvia explained everything carefully and we had a lot of fun! I’m just waiting for other workshops to attend!

Had a wonderful experience at the Brush Lettering workshop! Sylvia is very informative, encouraging and patient! She was open to everyone's questions and enabled a welcoming atmosphere.The class was at a good pace, we received (and got to keep) really nice material (special brush pens, tracing paper) and instruction pages to help us review what we learned at home. I really liked that she made her rounds to give everyone personal instruction every so often. The personalized marble plaques with our names was such a great touch! I put mine at my work desk :)

I took Sylvia's brush calligraphy class and it was a great experience! She is so friendly and creates a fun relaxing atmosphere to learn a new skill. I had a great time meeting new people and learned a lot!

This workshop was so much fun! Sylvia breaks down the fundamentals of calligraphy in a really simple, approachable way that’s great for beginners. What a fantastic way to spend an evening :)

Amazing Experience! Sylvia was a great and kind teacher and created a fun and educational ambience, learned a lot from the 2 hour begginner workshop! Also got a helpful kit to take home and continue to practice! Highly reccommend if you actually want to learn the art of calligraphy.

I took Sylvia's course in 2018 (two days before a wedding my cousin had asked me to do the place cards for.. with zero calligraphy experience, other than writing my own name) but with her expertise, guidance, and tools provided during the course, the place cards were done in time!I wasn't too satisfied with my first attempt (see pic) but Sylvia had told us that it was all about practice, so I keep practicing and now I handwrite all my letters and christmas cards every year :)Still have a ways to go, and more pens to try but calligraphy is one of my favourite skills these days. I'm SO glad I took her course! THANK U SYLVIA
