Food was unfortunately mediocre at best, burger special of the day actually made us both sick that evening. Our waitress seemed fed up and unwilling to speak English to us as well. The atmosphere is very nice however and lobster pogos were pretty good.

The good: cool concept, nice decor and extensive food and drinks menu.The bad: brutally slow and mediocre service (group of 4 on a Sunday with no more than 10 other people in the restaurant)The ugly: got a terrible stomach ache and 2 days later still feeling the pain.Do not recommend.

I was surprised by the price because I was sure it would be a lot more expensive but the food turned out to be reasonably priced and the portions are pretty big even though they do seem small. It's probably just the way presented but the meal was filling and I was pleased by the portion. The food itself was decent. The seafood was fresh and the quality was decent but the flavours were a bit basic and I wasn't particularly fond of their special mayo sauce. The service was friendly and welcoming but the restaurant is so big and there are so many other customers, it took quite a long while before we managed to give our order and another while before we received our food. But the drinks do get served a lot quicker which is at least something. Also, there's always a lot of people during nighttime, so don't forget to reserve a table to avoid the long line up which can take up to an hour or more.

The food was just ok, I got the poutine with Bavette a medium size for 25.99…I have to say the portion was disappointing and although I couldn’t eat it all you’d think for the price they give you a bit more than a small dish for those who would have the appetite to eat everything, also it was a bit to salty for me (this is all based on personal preference). The drinks are good kinda the same as Belle et le beouf to be honest nothing out of this world or more unique.The service…questionable, my friend and I sat there for 25 minutes before being served and waited another 20 for food to come out and it was cold by the time it arrived to the table. I asked for my drinks to come out at the same time as our meal we were already more than halfway done by the time it got to us :( we had reservations for 5 the service was long and they ask you to leave by 7 I really don’t understand how you’re gonna push customers out like that when your service is that slow.The atmosphere, I’d say it’s like any other young and hip modern restaurant, it was nice all around most clean although our table felt a bit sticky for reason but not a good enough reason for me to go back to be honest.I paid 50$ for a small portion poutine and a small alcoholic drink:( I’d say it wasn’t worth it all that much, much better restaurants out there for half the price and food just as good if not much better. I wouldn’t waste my money here again. 50$ in the garage that I can’t take back now.

Very nice place to go out with a group of friends. The staff is welcoming and warm. The service is good and quick. The drinks are really amazing. The meal is really delicious. I recommend the place and I would definitly go back.

Despite being a popular chain, Shaker is like a shiny object from the outside, but what counts is the inside.First, there is a long line to get in. This usually shows popularity, however with multiple empty spots indoors kind of makes you think if they are truly reserved.Once in, you will be greeted with a nice ambient decor, nice music, a live dj, and many huge screen tvs.We were at the bar and quickly were handed to help place our orders.We each started with a shaker. Despite the name of the place matching this category of mixology, surprising the drinks were water down and not that ... Good. As we are Cesar enthusiast, we could definitely rate this low on our list.We next ordered food, again nothing too out of the ordinary. The place has a lot of comfort foods to select from and also a variety of seafood.Lastly, we ordered a 2nd round of drinks that were from the cocktail list and this time we could finally agree that it was to our liking .The service is so so, let's just say if you do not ask for napkins you may need to wipe your mouth on your shirt. And for a mixology place, the drinks were not on par with the name.Food & Drinks - ⭐⭐⭐ (only for the last drink that balanced at 3 overallPrice - $$ ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (don't expect to be full)Service - ⭐⭐⭐Ambiance - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Location - ⭐⭐⭐ (despite being in laval, no parking on weekends)

Restaurant just opened, as usual, Shaker doesn't disappoint. The food was great, the servers were polite and nice decor. The drinks were delicious!
