Absolutely amazing library. All the staff are super kind and attentive. Signing up for a card and learning some of the basic processes was a BREEZE with all the help from the staff. Quiet and always clean. A great place to check for some books/movies/video games you might not wanna buy. And great to just hang out at too!

I come here to study for 3 ~ 4 days a week as I live nearby. Most of the staff are friendly. It is easy to print or copy stuff. It has a good collection of children's books (I only pay attention to this as I have a young baby). There are events for kids (including babies) and teens. The study/quiet room is a bit small, only 5 seats. Sometimes, all of them are taken. Hence, the room is a bit stuffy (i.e., bad air or ventilation quality) as it gets crowded.

First time to visit Vancouver Public Library couple weeks ago. VPL is very conducive for learning and studying. You can have access to internet and their catalogs are online as well - very useful for quick searchs. The library's easily accessible via commute. The staff are nice and friendly. They will accommodate all your queries.

If you have VPL card, you can use print, copy, scan, computer and free wifi as well! It’s not too big, but have enough space to enjoy books!

Good please if you need to print something. Unfortunately I have not used their others services yet.By the way: public computers are automatically turned off 10 minutes before closing time WITHOUT any notice, please see your time and don't forget to save your documents on your cloud/usb stick :)

This location doesn't get too busy, but there are not a lot of study areas and it is not very quiet. Overall still a decent little library with a nice and cozy ambience.

1/2(half) star.I use this library a lot, but I'm seriously considering never going back. This place is so noisy,I get more peace and quiet at a Tim Hortons. I don't know who is worse, the adults or the children, but adults know better ,and children are learning. There are people having full conversations not even trying to be quiet, with no consideration for others, children running arround, people sitting at the computer having cell phone conversations, children banging toys, cell phones ringing, children crying ,and screaming having blast off temper tantrums, and even the Librarians talking loudly at the front counter ,could be heard across the whole library, at the far back where I was sitting. One time there was some kind off event ,and people were making speaches and the crowd was applauding every 30seconds, and cake party for the kids. All together this is way to much, it is impossible to consentrate and do some reseach or read in peace. At first I thought it was just a off day ,and it wont be like this very often ,but thats not the case, the more I come to the library the more these shenanigans are going on,so this tells me that ,this is the norm for this place. If people want to have these parties they should go to the comunnity center. Im so desappoited with the librarians, there is never a attempt to make people quiet down, they actually add to the problem with their loud conversations, this is why I'm ratting the Kensington branch at 1/2 ( half) a star.
