Wow, what a experience. This store has a lot to offer if you are looking forward to start your first home-brew. They’ll give you complete information you need & all the required stuff. They do have revolution starter kits which has everything you need for your first home brew except funnel & thermometer. I wish they could that that as well. Overall its a unique store of its kind in whole metro Vancouver.

Thank you for the excellent and fast service for a great price. When I placed my online order I asked a question to make sure what I was ordering would fit correctly. I received a phone call within 15 minutes, to confirm my order was correct and would ship it out as soon as possible. I then received a notification half hour later that it was picked up by Canada post and I received it 2 days later (probably could have got it the next day but post card said pick up next day) Thanks again, appreciate it.

you go in as a beginner, you come out as an expert. You can ask any question (even ask what is the difference between beer and wine) and the gentleman answers all your questions with details with patience. Great local small business.

I've been going to Barley's since pandemic hit. It's such a breath of fresh air to get the sort of customer service that Curtis and his employees give each and every time you visit.The staff will guide anyone from beginner to pro and everyone in between. They always have time to answer questions, make recommendations and help you make the best beer possible at home!Their prices can't be beat and if they don't carry it, you don't want it! Their selection is ridiculous so you'll feel like a kid in a candy store. This ain't your basic store by any means. If he doesn't have something he will usually order in or guide you to what your options are.If you can't make it to the physical store, don't worry, they ship within the city for a small price and the service is extremely fast. Often times orders can be out within the day depending on when your order is placed.No wonder Barley's has been voted best home brew shop in the country...keep up the great work fellas!

Love this place. I discovered this gem of a homebrew store in my search for CO2 canisters. I had modified a sodastream to be able to use larger canisters, but wanted to ensure the CO2 I was using was already safe for food consumption. A homebrew store was perfect since beer uses the same canisters for carbonation!I've been to this store a few times over the last few years and the service is always great. The guys working here are always helpful and friendly and there's usually plenty of room to park in the back. They're always quick to respond to emails with questions and just great in general.

I went to basically re-start brewing as a hobby. John, the guy who helped us went far and beyond to offer us what we needed, thinking of possibilities to better suit our needs. Great place! I will definitely keep going back to get my brewing supplies. Besides, it's my local New Westminster's homebrewing store.

I stopped in to get a particular sanitizer I thought I needed but was instead directed towards a different sanitizer at a much lower price that was better suited for my needs. I will be going back as I found them to be knowledgeable and honest.
