Bren was extremely helpful in recommending a solution for our very outdated heating system. We purchased a high efficiency natural gas dual boiler/hot water on demand system from Heatwave and are super happy with the result. It's more than halfed our energy bill and I love the automated thermostat.Bren had also been excellent about fitting us in on short notice when we had a leak and when our system was not working as it should on Christmas Eve. I highly recommend Heatwave!!

At the start of Summer our Rinnai natural gas wall heater started acting up and we called Heatwave as they were who we originally purchased the unit from. Over the Summer Bren made several trips to our residence to try and sort out the problem. The travel associated with the service calls alone probably totaled over $1000. Nevertheless, it was a struggle to deal with the manufacturer, despite Bren’s best efforts and nothing he tried seemed to fix the unit. As the weather started to change and because this was our only source of heat we were starting to get nervous as Fall approached. It was here that Heatwave stepped up and offered to just eat the cost of the service calls and to sell us a new until at cost. This is the type of customer service that is lacking nowadays and it was greatly appreciated. In my opinion Heatwave went above and beyond to make this right and they deserve your business.

Really happy with the service and product. We had our old oil furnace removed and a new gas one installed. Got quotes from a few places. But went with this company. Excellent service and very happy with the price. Follow-up service/maintenance has been good as well. Very prompt and pleasant to deal with. I have recommended them to friends as well and they are also pleased.

Ten years ago, Heatwave retrofitted our heritage home through the installation of a new heating system and the refurbishment of the original hot water radiator system.They refurbished and added an additional 1910 radiator.Our heating bills dropped by 50%.Since then, they have provided excellent service and maintenance.We enthusiastically recommend Heatwave to our friends and neighbours.

We have used Heatwave for a number of years to keep our fireplaces and in-floor heating system in good nick. Found them to be knowledgeable, professional and on-time. Willing to offer informed input on all the questions we have raised about alternative heating technologies. Quality of the work has been very good. Difficult to comment on pricing due to limited comparative info but it is not at odds with other professional trades we have hired. We have recommended Heatwave to friends.

The whole process was very straightforward and the value was apparent. The key here, I believe, is that the shop owner also installs and services what he sells....no middleman = in-depth knowledge and ongoing communication plus very competitive prices. Heatwave Plumbing and Heating have provided me with very good quality workmanship and service.I had my old hot water boiler and electric domestic hot water tank replaced with a high efficient gas fired boiler and high performance indirect hot water heater.Now I have better heating control of my home and cost savings on my gas bill.The high-performance indirect water heater is the best of both worlds, hot water on demand and an endless supply of high-volume hot water.The biggest problem of a combination boiler is the volume of hot water, it’s fine for a single person or a couple to use sparingly but doesn’t work for a family with kids.The owner, Bren O’Connor, suggested the high efficient boiler and high-performance indirect hot water heater, I cannot thank him enough for this knowledge and insight.We do not run out of hot water no matter how many baths and showers are taken.Bren brings in an excellent level of knowledge, quality of workmanship and service.
