The gentleman helping me with getting correct hose fittings was phenomenal and extremely helpful. Although as soon as I got to the cash register to make payment, Lina was the epitome of terrible customer service. She literally made the payment process very painful and more complicated than it should've been by continuously making issues out of things that would be considered non-issues. Lina singlehandedly made my entire experience at KMS terrible.

I bought a $5500 (hopefully new) welder from kms. Opened the box to find the tips were the wrong size/ model and the lug to hold the spool on wasn't in the box. The welder has been fine, but paying big bucks for something to find out it may be used, I would suggest when buying here you may want to open and check everything before taking it from the store.

Great place to buy tools. They have a wide selection and cover everything from home handyman to professional. Pricing is pretty competitive with the big box stores and online. If you’re prone to impulse buying make sure to go in with a plan. It can be easy to go in for one thing and leave with an armload!

First time having to return a tool at KMS I recently bought a Milwaukee 3 plane laser level obviously defective out of the box. Brought it back for an exchange, was told I am SOL because it emits light.. therefore it is working as intended. they seemed more worried about losing money on an exchange/warranty than anything else.. I guess the salesman's blatant honesty is worth something? at least I have a decent 800 dollar paper weight now.

Bought a Dewalt measuring tool, was on Thursday June 15 Dewalt sale around 3:40 pm.The tool was a display tool so there was no box no user manual. I asked the lady on checkout to write a note on a system that the item didn’t have a box in case I return it.The lady said she will do that however it seems that she didn’t because when i returned the item in Abbotsford store they said there was nothing written on system. Please make sure when you say something do it because this is so disrespectful and it was an embarrassing situation.

So, discovered this shop by accident. Just awesome. All under one roof. Staff helpfull, prices same or below other and a huge amount of choice!!! And they have most big brands, allowing for proper comparing before buying!

I have always found KMS to be a company that sells quality tools and they stand by the integrity of what they sell. I believe that to be true in most cases and circumstances depending which manage or staff member you deal with, however, the manager working on the day of this post clearly lacks an understanding of what constitutes reasonable durability. Maybe deal with another branch or company to avoid having to jump through a lot of hoops to deal with a blatant manufacturer defect.For context, a Wera multi driver broke apart in my had after very little use. I had the exact same model for 4 or 5 years but I lost it so I bought a replacement. The replacement didn’t last six months doing the same job. It’s going to cost at least an hour and half of my time to get the problem rectified, not what I have come to expect from KMS.It would be just a one star review but while I was waiting another guy was really great in helping me figure out what helicoil I need even though KMS doesn’t stock them anymore.

Terrible service at this location, especially a guy by the name of warren and stay away from his immediate area.While I was still at the store, the person behind the till and the manager did a great job in making things better. Because of this, I call it Warren having a bad day - poor service this one day - I will try again because the store is well equipped with a huge variety of selection on-hand.Changed my review from one to three stars because of the recovery.

A great tool store for general to industry specific whether it’s welding, carpentry, electrical, mechanical, you name it. They got it.Hand tools, power tools, large equipment, they’ve got almost everything. And good brands too.Oh, and a selection of clearance & liquidation items.
