I ordered the ribs / chicken. The food was good for the price. The view from the balcony is not bad either. The server was bilingual and service was above average. While there might be small points to criticize, overall, I would recommend this place.

One of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in years.When we first arrived the music was so loud that we had to ask for a table outside. After waiting 30 minutes to put our orders in, we then waited 1.5 hours to get our food. During the wait, we weren’t offered chips or an apology.Unfortunately, even though the fajitas sounded good, the chicken didn’t even come with a pinch of salt. It appeared and tasted as if it was cooked without any spices at all. When we were paying, the server gave no apology or any breaks on the bill. A true waste of $120.

Went to Mex today. The service was quite speedy. We ordered poutine and and enjoyed a hot chocolate while we waited. The food took about 15 minutes to come out. The waitress was very attentive.The atmosphere in the bar was very warm. They have a dance floor with a disco light, a Mexican style bar where the food comes from and a beautiful alcohol bar.On this particular day they had a DJ with Latin music playing and it definitely enriched the ambiance.I would recommend this place for somebody who is looking for a quick bite to eat, food isn't fancy and it's well priced

Good place to eat.Music is playing a bit too loud when there is a musician but the music is good.Do not get the Tacos! they are too slugish.Get the Fajitas instead, they are amazingly good(although more pitas is extra...)I still would recommend this place.

An amazing bar and grill with love music. We went there on a whim and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We were please surprised when a gentleman went up on stage and started singing the Gambler by Kenny Rogers. The food was pretty good and our waitress was very efficient and nice. Would recommend to go

Review for the double decker chip truck (owned by Max) I would say it’s ok, but we are still on the search for good poutine in Cantley. The box was filled not even half way filled. It was tasty but the fries were a bit under done also. I wouldn’t get it again sadly!

Beside Mex BBQ is a double decker red bus that serves hamburgers, hot dogs, fish and chips, poutine, fries, onion rings and drinks. There are picnic tables, and some space to eat inside on the top deck. The food is simple but good, cooked when ordered.
