Major violence problems at this school. Past 3 years have been a nightmare with between 8-10 major incidents, with multiple having been escalated to the school board level. We have met with OPS and CEPEO VP on multiple occasions.All 3 of my kids have been assaulted and each one has a documented concussion as a result of unprovoked physical altercations.The staff and CEPEO board have been less than helpful in resolving these incidents as they have to date only protected their staff from any liability and forced the aggressors to provide insincere written apologies, which are totally ineffective. On top, my oldest daughter has been punished for defending herself from attacks because the attacker was “younger and she should know better”.The school does not share records or statistics on incidents unless it is a suspension, which I have been told by school administrators, are never (very rarely) given out to bullies because of provincial policy.Think twice before sending your child here as they are not safe and little will be done when physical injury occurs.The most recent incident involves a group of boys punching and kicking my 11yo daughter at recess in the middle of the soccer field to the point she was too sore and traumatized to participate in her swimming class after school with visible bruises on her arms and legs.It says a lot when she does not approach staff for fear of being punished by school administrators and for fear of further attacks by students for “snitching”.

this school is very bad they have very strict teachers and they get in trouble for no reason I would give it a negative 5 star bit I can not and also the teachers do not even care one bit if a child get bullied do not go to this school

I used to be a student at Michaelle Jean. I will be honest and say that the school is one of the worst that I have ever visited. The students are rude and inconsiderate and most of the staff are rude and unprofessional. I am not sure if this school is in the best interest of the children, but I do know that there is a huge lack of professionalism and education from the staff.
