This place is a hidden gem! There's a great selection of inexpensive classes, like fitness, guitar lessons, etc. And the membership is not required but is very inexpensive and has great perks. If you live in the area you should definitely look into what this place has to offer!

Was invited to a bridal shower at the North Woodside Community Centre; the room it was in was on the main level, it's a nice room (not new or fancy) it's clean, practical and had a small kitchen we could use to put food in the fridge, or heat something up in the oven if needed. Sink, and nice size countertops to prepare food. There were about 25 ladies there, and with the food table (buffet style) and the gift table along with a table the hostess set up for bridal shower games, there was more than enough room for everyone to be comfortably seated, and extra chairs if they were needed. There was also a handmade dolly that made it easier to wheel large items such as cases of water or bottles of pop in and out of the venue. Just be very careful when going downstairs to use the washroom the stairs are extremely steep and because the building is older the stairs are a little bit warped in some places. Overall it is a nice clean place that suited the needs for the bridal shower that I went to, there is ample parking, a side ramp and handicap parking as well. There is a handicapped washroom that is on the same level but you need to get somebody in the office an administrator to let you in with a key it's not open to everybody. I took one star away from the five stars just because the steps going downstairs to the washroom are a little bit dangerous, if you don't go slowly and aren't watching where you step.

MITE theater is a great youth theater group!

BEST. DAYCARE. HANDS DOWN! Barbra and Irene are wonderful and you will get a sense the moment you walk in that the people here actually care for the development and well being of your children. They practice an INCLUSIVE environment and use curriculum from the PreK. My little loves the teachers and its nice to hear them all say good morning when we arrive. They are great at communication any will help you/child in any areas your children are struggling.

This community centre is amazing. They have many rooms for various activities such as Square Dancing, Judo, Ballet, Junior Boxing, a Literacy program, and a meeting room for various activities. The building is wheelchair accessible and is extremely clean.

This was a great place to have a Baby Shower. We had access to the kitchen. The staff were great very friendly. This is a possible place to host a party for us some day. The park get lot wad big. I didn't like to go downstairs to the bathroom. (Bad knees).
