Great dealership with no high pressure sales or finance departments which was not the case with the previous dealership we talked to. Arbutus RV in Sidney treated us very well and kept us informed throughout the ordering process. KC and Jennifer were great to work with in placing our factory order. Highly recommended dealership.

Great sales and service teams! We brought our 2021 RV in for warranty work and Mark, the service manager at the Sidney location, and his team were very proactive at addressing the issues. Once the warranty period is over, I know we will keep doing business with this very professional and knowledgeable team for any of our RV needs!

If I could give a negative star I would! Had a new awning ordered in September. Arrived late January. Not their fault. Made appointment for installation and warrenty issues for Feb 8th. Dropped trailer off. 3 weeks later we called to find out what was happening. Hadn't even looked at it yet. A few days later he called to let us know he had the wrong part and was trying to find the right one. Let us know on March 18th that trailer was ready. 6 weeks for a 2 day job! Drove an hour to get trailer to find out he didn't do 1 of the warrenty issues. Warrenty is now up, hopefully Arbutus will cover expenses for job they never did when it gets done! Also charging us $300 for sealing and caulking which we never requested. If it was part of the awning replacement job, it should have been included in that and not a seperate fee.

We just bought a new-to-us travel trailer from Arbutus RV and we are absolutely thrilled with the service we received from the team there. Robyn, Jennifer, Mark and their crew made us feel ready and excited to hit the road as first time travel trailer owners. They gave us the confidence to drive away and hit the road knowing we could call if we ever needed help.We left the lot with a used travel trailer that needs some work, elbow grease and a little love on the inside. They made sure everything else was in working order and did a very thorough walk through to make sure we were ready for our adventures.We highly recommend Arbutus as a main option if you’re looking for a trailer. It feels like you met a new family and they are there to help you no matter your level of expertise.

I have had a mediocre experience with Arbutus in Sidney. I bought my first ever trailer from them in Sept 2020. There were two “say something and then change it at the last moment” moves that frustrated me during the purchase process and several post purchase issues.The first was an offer made via email that then was retracted by the manager. It was an amateur move. Their emails even have a “this is not a real offer” clause at the bottom that is very dubiously legal. It’s either a deal between two parties or it’s worthless. I’d be super curious what a lawyer has to say on that front.When we got to financing, I wanted to get an interest rate that worked for me. Let’s call it 5%. When called by the finance person it was “we got you close to 5%”. When I arrived to sign the deal it was 5.89%. That’s not close to 5, that’s close to 6. Felt bad. I probably should have walked at that point but that emotional desire to get things done won over.Then there were several minor issues they agreed to fix. When I arrived to pick up the unit, only one had been addressed and was done completely incorrectly. It was a door hold back latch. They not only installed the wrong part but installed the wrong part wrong. If you’ve done hundreds or thousands of sales and services on trailers and get that part wrong it’s troubling.A repair to my floorboards has been promised, with emails, pictures, and phone calls for more than a year. Never a reply to the emails they ask me to send. Always “we’re slammed” if I get them on the phone. I’ve been super understanding but come on, your business is BOOMING because of the pandemic. Hire more staff, pay them better, get more space. Do what it takes to have a quality level of prompt customer service. I’ve now given them until March 2022 to find an appointment to fix the issues they promised during the sale. I don’t have high hopes.All in all, I’m pretty handy and will address these issues myself if they flake out, but I won’t buy from them again. I won’t trust them with my maintenance and will do it myself or go to a different shop.It was a really exciting and large purchase for my family that ultimately left me feeling like as soon as the papers were signed everything they said went out the window. Perhaps that’s just the business in general or maybe just bad luck for me, but I’ve now got two other friends with disappointing experiences with Arbutus that make me think my experience is pretty common.EDIT: After having my wife call instead of me, apparently some magic happened and they've booked my repair. The fact that it happened so quickly after more than a year of trying doesn't make me feel any better about the delay (feels like it just wasn't a priority for them), but I did want to ensure I updated to say they did follow through with their commitment.

Disappointing. I thought I was pre approved for a loan on a used trailer in the 24g range. It seems our collateral of sizeable real estate with little leaning on it wasn't enough to secure anything. I was asked to go for newer more expensive trailer without the features I needed. Makes little sense. Smaller loan is paid faster. Between this & dealing with Galaxy pressure cooker I couldn't take the stress. I'm back to drawing board on this. Need this for my Mum as a suite. Apparently only predatory loans are ok for my family. No help here. Really depressing. I'm running out of options. I could easily pay the 400$ a month terms. I just don't know anymore. Very sad. Private sales is only option I see.

Just purchased a new RV from Arbutus in Sidney.The sales consultant Robin is very knowledgeable and did not use pressure tactics. He worked very hard to find us the right RV.Jennifer was great to deal with in the office. We were in good handsHowever, when the day came to pickup the new RV, it was a complete let down.. The sales representative, Robin, hardly paid any attention to us. No thank-you, no nothing. The entire walk through with the unit was a disaster and the hitch connection was not done correctly. Almost lost the equalizer bar on the trip home. That could have a catastrophic disater!Ended up extreme dissatisfied with the company in the end. No going back to Arbutus again

I work as a community support worker and was in with a resident I support who loves RVs and can't afford to buy. They allowed us to look around the lot and provided any support(pamphlets) or the space needed for me to help my resident tour the RVs(shoot/view videos). Then welcomed us back anytime we want!!! Great customer service!!!

Update:Talked to Super Service Manager Mark again today and he actually talked me out of a unnecessary service job. Can't remember the last time someone cared about customers that much before?!! I will not shop anywhere else, they've earned my business for life.Original:Bought a used trailer privately and Super Service Manager Mark went way out of his way to do a quick walk through to point out things to keep an eye on, check for hidden problems, get my weight distribution hitch dialed in and even gave me free corrective maintenance advice. Couldn't have been more impressed with him, well done Mark!
